  • Publication number: 20120078094
Abstract: An ultrasound-guided ablation method captures an objective area to be ablated in an ultrasound scan area of an ultrasound transducer and delineates the objective area on an ultrasound image; specifies an ablation target area to display the ablation target area with a margin necessary for ablating the objective area on the ultrasound image processed by an ultrasound observation device and displayed on a display device; ablates, by an ablation device, the ablation target area displayed on the ultrasound image; and checks, on the ultrasound image, that an ablated area ablated by the ablation device has reached the ablation target area displayed on the ultrasound image.

  • Publication number: 20110282209
Abstract: An ultrasound observation apparatus of the invention includes: an ultrasound probe portion capable of two-dimensional scanning of an ultrasound beam; a transmission/reception control section for controlling a transmission/reception direction of the ultrasound beam by the ultrasound probe portion; a B-mode image calculation section for generating a B-mode image on a scanning plane based on a result of scanning of the ultrasound beam; a storage section for storing a predetermined sample image determined according to a shape of a treatment instrument in a case where a central axis of the treatment instrument for performing a treatment on a subject and the scanning plane agree with each other; and a correlation calculation section for calculating a correlation value between the B-mode image and the sample image, wherein the transmission/reception control section moves the scanning plane such that the correlation value becomes the maximum.

  • Patent number: 6500124
Abstract: A PC board of a PC has a controller for controlling a motor drive circuit based on a timing signal, a memory for GAIN/STC for storing amplification data in an data in an amplifier for GAIN/STC as digital data and outputting the stored data synchronously with the timing signal of the controller, and a PC internal bus controller for connecting a PC internal bus to a local bus. Set values of GAIN and STC are converted into parameters and are set to the memory for GAIN/STC and a set value of contrast is converted into a parameter and is set to the controller both in a live state and in a freeze state.

  • Patent number: 5176140
Abstract: In an ultrasonic probe for use in ultrasonic endoscope, ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus and other ultrasonic apparatuses, an ultrasonic vibrator is arranged in a recess formed in a cylindrical housing and is secured thereto such that portions of first and second electrodes are exposed out of the recess. First and second lead wires are embedded in the housing such that tips of the lead wires are exposed within connecting areas formed in the housing in communication with the recess. The tips of the first and second lead wires are connected to first and second electrodes of the ultrasonic vibrator with the aid of conductive members made of solder, conductive paste or conductive adhesive agent. The other end of the first and second lead wires are extended from the same end face of the cylindrical housing.
