  • Publication number: 20120180150
Abstract: The instant invention provides an inositol 1,4,5-triphaosphate receptor (IP3R)-binding protein and its transgenic non-human mammalian animal. The inositol 1,4,5-triphaosphate receptor-binding protein comprises an inositol 1,4,5-triphaosphate receptor-binding protein with a protein including KRAP protein (SQ ID NOS. 1-4) bound to inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate (IP3R) protein (SQ ID NOS. 5-8). The IP3R activity inhibitor contains the IP3R-binding protein as a major ingredient. The transgenic non-human mammal of the instant invention carries the IP3R-binding protein. The site of binding of the KRAP protein to the IP3R protein is located in an amino acid region composed of 19 amino acids ranging from amino acid 200 to amino acid 218 of the mouse KRAP protein and an 19-amino acid region corresponding to that of the mouse KRAP protein for any animal species other than mouse.

  • Patent number: 8045860
Abstract: An optical transceiver stores an output A/D value which is A/D-converted from reference voltage in an EEPROM as correction data in preparing the optical transceiver. The optical transceiver, receiving a request for outputting a monitored value from an external device connected therewith, calculates a variation based on difference between the output A/D value which is A/D-converted from the reference voltage at the timing when the request for outputting the monitored value is received and the correction data stored in the EEPROM. Then, the optical transceiver uses the calculated variation to convert current of light-input power which is input thereinto into voltage, amplify the voltage, and A/D-convert the voltage to thereby correct the output A/D value. The optical transceiver outputs the corrected A/D value to the connected external device as the monitored value.

  • Publication number: 20110237647
Abstract: The inhibitory RNA for inhibiting the expression of ZFAT gene according to this invention is a siRNA comprising a sense RNA having a base sequence of contiguous 20 to 20 bases, preferably 23 to 27 bases, of ZFAT mRNA and an anti-sense RNA having a base sequence complementary to the base sequence of the sense RNA or a shRNA comprising a double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) with the sense RNA connected to the anti-sense RNA via a loop sequence. The inhibitory RNA for inhibiting the expression of ZFAT gene according to this invention decreases a rate of cell proliferation of cancer cells, etc., induces apoptosis of cells including cancer cells, or inhibits an immunoresponse by inhibiting the expression of the ZFAT gene. Therefore, the inhibitory RNA of this invention is useful for development of molecular target agents particularly for cancer cells or immunosuppressive agents.

  • Publication number: 20110170863
Abstract: A phase modulated signal receiver includes an operation part and a control part. An input power of a received light signal is measured based on current monitored by a monitor circuit. The operation part is configured to correct, on the basis of a ratio of the input power measured when a delay of a phase reference light output from a delay interferometer is a first delay and the input power when the delay of the phase reference light is a second delay, a value of the current monitored by the monitor circuit when the delay is the first delay to a corrected value that depends on the input power of the received light signal obtained when the delay is the first delay. The control part is configured to control the delay of the phase reference light of the delay interferometer by comparing the current monitored when the delay is the first delay and the corrected value of the current monitored when the delay is the second delay and maximizing or minimizing the current monitored by the monitor circuit.
