  • Patent number: 10042236
Abstract: A digital camera (an imaging device) includes: a camera body (an imaging device body); a flash light emitter having a stored state in which the flash light emitter is stored in the camera body and a projected state in which the flash light emitter projects from the camera body; and a packing (an elastic deformation member). The digital camera has a drip-proof specification in which the packing is pressed and deformed between the flash light emitter and the camera body in the stored state, thereby drip-proof sealing a clearance between the camera body and the flash light emitter.

    Filed: May 2, 2017
Date of Patent: August 7, 2018
Assignee: Panasonic Intellectual Property Management Co., Ltd.

  • Patent number: 9720303
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a strobe mechanism which has a compact constitution thus avoiding vignetting of strobe light rays by a lens barrel. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a strobe mechanism which brings a strobe into a use state by making the strobe pop up from a stored state. The strobe mechanism includes: a base member; a slide member held in a movable manner in one direction with respect to the base member; a strobe part which is mounted on the slide member; and a capacitor which supplies electricity to the strobe part; and the capacitor is arranged in a region defined by walls of the slide member.

  • Publication number: 20090103911
Abstract: A camera with a built-in strobe is provided, which includes a non-contact-type unit as means for detecting that a strobe device is at a light emittable position and in which a degree of design freedom can be enhanced. The camera with a built-in strobe includes a camera body, a movable strobe device provided at the camera body, and a detecting unit that includes a Hall element provided at the camera body and a magnet provided at the strobe device and detects that the strobe device is at a light emittable position.

  • Patent number: 7099573
Abstract: A zoom lens camera includes an optical-element drive mechanism for a photographing optical system, and a zooming-associating mechanism for associating a zooming-associated driven member with a zooming operation to be driven by the optical-element drive mechanism in a ready-to-photograph state, and for releasing the association of the zooming-associated driven member with the zooming operation between the ready-to-photograph state and the retracted state. The zooming-associating mechanism includes three rotational members, and includes a master rotational member and a slave rotational member at opposite ends thereof. Opposed surfaces of two adjacent rotational members include rotation transfer portions engaged with each other at predetermined relative angular positions so as to integrally rotate.
