  • Patent number: 6355893
Abstract: A push-button apparatus includes a main body having at least two inward walls parallel to each other and a push-button having two outward walls parallel to each other. The push-button is arranged within an inner space defined between the two inward walls of the main body. A recess is arranged at any one of the main body and the push-button. A rotation axis is arranged at the other of the main body and the push-button and rotatably fitted into the recess. A front end of the rotation axis pressingly comes into contact with a bottom of the recess by virtue of elastic return force derived from materials of the push-button.

  • Patent number: 6355891
Abstract: An operation device is provided with an outer support section 1c which projects towards an outer face of a button 1, an inner support section 1e which projects towards an inner face of said button 1, a maintaining section 5b which is provided on a decorative front panel 5 and which maintains said outer support section in free rotation, a maintaining section 3a which is provided on a button depression member 3 and which maintains said inner support section 1e in free rotation and a flange 1b which is provided continuously on the outer edge of the aperture of the button 1. Thus it is possible to provide a smaller device than the conventional example while maintaining the rigidity of the outer support section 1c. A smaller button 1 and smooth see-saw operation can be realized as well as reductions in escaped light.

  • Patent number: 6283417
Abstract: Mounting device bodies 4 secured to both side faces of a car audio 2 and fitted into a vehicular audio mounting hole 1 together with the car audio are each provided with vertical positioning mechanisms 13 and 14 for positioning and fixing the car audio 2 vertically with respect to the audio mounting hole 1. Consequently, with only one kind of mounting device body 4, without requiring the use of any other separate component, the car audio 2 can be vertically positioned and fixed accurately with respect to the audio mounting hole 1, and thus car audio mounting accuracy is improved.

  • Patent number: 5164554
Abstract: A plurality of switches are arranged in a polygon on a printed circuit board and each of the switches is beneath or under a switch activating portion formed at the center of a pushbutton operation receiver portion. The pushbutton operation receiver portions are each supported over the corresponding switches through resilient arms that are integrally formed with a stay, which is secured to the printed circuit board at the center of the polygon. The pushbutton has a plurality of pushbutton operation transmission portions, each of which conveys the pressing force to the facing ends of the adjacent pushbutton operation receiver portions. When the pushbutton is depressed at a point between two switches, the pushbutton operation transmission portion nearest the depression point is lowered, pushing down the facing ends of the adjacent pushbutton operation receiver portions.
