    Abstract: The disclosed battery includes a cylindrical side surface, a case including an opening and a bottom, an electrode group housed in the case together with an electrolytic solution and including a first electrode and a second electrode, and a first end part electrically connected to the first electrode, a first lead welded to the cylindrical side surface, a cap for sealing an opening, and a gasket provided between the opening and the cap. A part of the cylindrical side surface is provided with a groove for compressing a part of the gasket. The gasket includes a cylindrical part that is continuous with a compression part and that extends toward the bottom. The first lead is not placed between the cylindrical side surface and the compression part, and is in contact with the cylindrical part. The second end part of the first lead is positioned closer to the opening than the electrode group.

Therefore, the present invention provides a wavelength conversion optical element that includes a periodically poled waveguide. In the wavelength conversion optical element, the periodically poled waveguide includes: a core that performs wavelength conversion on a fundamental wave that has entered the entrance end, and emits a converted wave from the exit end; and a cladding that covers the periphery of the core, and the structure of the element gradually changes so as to achieve quasi phase matching from the entrance end toward the exit end in the periodically poled waveguide.
