  • Patent number: 11901658
Abstract: An electric connector set having an impedance adjustment function and a mounting structure, and including a first connector that mounts onto a first circuit board, and a second connector that mounts onto a second circuit to be insertable into and withdrawable from the first connector in an insertion-withdrawal direction. The first connector includes a first connection terminal having first mounting portions to mount onto first land portions on the first circuit board and a first insulating member that holds the first connection terminal. The second connector includes a second connection terminal having second mounting portions to mount onto second land portions on the second circuit board and a second insulating member that holds the second connection terminal. In an engagement state of the electric connector set, the first mounting portions oppose the second mounting portions and overlap the second mounting portions as viewed in the insertion-withdrawal direction.

  • Patent number: 6971166
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a non-reciprocal component including a casing having an input/output terminal and a ground terminal formed therein, a ferrite plate, a line conductor, and a magnet disposed in the casing, and an upper yoke and a lower yoke provided at the top face and the bottom face of the casing, respectively. In the non-reciprocal component, the casing is insert-molded with the lower yoke so that a portion of the casing penetrates through the lower yoke. A side of the component is defined partly by the lower yoke and partly by the penetrating portion of the casing. An input/output terminal and a ground terminal in the casing are defined by respective portions of a molded hoop material.

  • Patent number: 6625869
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a nonreciprocal circuit device, wherein when the nonreciprocal circuit device, such as an isolator, is manufactured having central conductors disposed adjacent to a magnetic body, to which a DC magnetic field is applied, and a case receiving the central conductors and the magnetic body therein, the central conductors are integral with a hoop and are formed by punching the hoop made of a metal film, the hoop is wound around a reel while the central conductors are transported, and when the nonreciprocal circuit devices are manufactured, the central conductors are fed into a manufacturing step after being separated from the hoop.

  • Patent number: 6417741
Abstract: Insulating tape having an adhesive layer is applied to the lower face of the top wall of an upper yoke, by automated equipment or the like. The thickness of the insulating tape including the adhesive layer is set to a thin thickness, such as 0.01 to 0.05 mm for example, so that the height-wise dimensions of the product do not become great. Polyester resin, or material with deformation temperature of 200° C. or higher (e.g., polyimide resin, polyamide resin, fluororesin) is used for the material of the insulating tape. A silicone adhesive agent or an acrylic adhesive agent or the like is used for the adhesive layer of the insulating tape. Thus, short-circuiting between the matching capacitors and the yoke can be effectively prevented, thereby providing a nonreciprocal circuit device and communication device with high reliability at low costs.

  • Patent number: 6366178
Abstract: A highly reliable nonreciprocal circuit device facilitating incorporation of matching capacitors and a communication apparatus incorporating the same are disclosed. In the nonreciprocal circuit device, central conductors are integrally extended from a ground plate abutting on the bottom of a ferrite plate to be mutually crossed on the upper surface of the ferrite plate via an insulation sheet after passing over the side surfaces of the ferrite plate. Matching capacitors are connected by soldering between capacitor-connecting terminals integrally extended from the ground plate and the ports of the central conductors in such a manner that electrode surfaces of the matching capacitors are set perpendicularly with respect to a main surface of the ferrite plate.

  • Publication number: 20020002770
Abstract: A nonreciprocal circuit device, which has superior performances and can be manufactured with a high productivity, is provided by avoiding problems in an etching method, such as long manufacturing time, and large variation of line widths, and by avoiding problems in a punching method, such as occurrence of breakage and bending during transportation of elements. When the nonreciprocal circuit device, such as an isolator, is manufactured having central conductors disposed adjacent to a magnetic body, to which a DC magnetic field is applied, and a case receiving the central conductors and the magnetic body therein, the central conductors integral with a hoop are formed by punching the hoop made of a metal film, the hoop is wound around a reel while the central conductors are transported, and when the nonreciprocal circuit devices are manufactured, the central conductors are fed into a manufacturing step after being separated from the hoop.
