    Abstract: An image projection apparatus includes a light source, a color wheel, a controller. The controller controls, in a first mode, electric power supplied to the light source at a timing of a first color filter being irradiated with light from the light source to be a value higher than electric power supplied to the light source at a timing of a second color filter corresponding to a color having lower visibility than a color of the first color filter being irradiated with the light from the light source. Furthermore, the controller controls, in a second mode, the electric power supplied to the light source at the timing of the first color filter being irradiated with the light from the light source to be a value lower than the electric power supplied to the light source at the timing of the second color filter being irradiated with the light.
