  • Publication number: 20160160999
Abstract: [Object] To provide a shift control device that, in a shift control device of a vehicle equipped with an idling-stop mechanism and a shift-by-wire mechanism, is capable of preventing setting off at a timing that the driver does not expect when returning from an idling-stop state. [Solution] The SBW-CU (40) that constitutes the shift control device (1), in the case of selection information for selecting the R range being output during an idling stop, switches the shift range of the automatic transmission (10) to the R range when the vehicle is braked, and switches the shift range to the N range or the P range when the vehicle is not braked and the shift range of the automatic transmission (10) is the D range. Also, the SBW-CU (40), in the case of selection information for selecting the R range being output during an idling stop, maintains the shift range without switching it when the vehicle is braked and the shift range of the automatic transmission (10) is other than the D range.

  • Patent number: 9273776
Abstract: A range switching device for performing switching the range of a transmission includes first control valve, a second control valve having a characteristic opposite to the first control, and first, second, third and fourth switching valves for controlling the transmission of oil pressures. The first and second switching valves cooperatively control the transmission of the oil pressure from the first control valve to a forward or reverse driving element (R). The third and fourth switching valve cooperatively control the transmission of the oil pressure from the second control valve to the forward or reverse driving element (R). The third and fourth switching valves each perform a substantially same oil pressure transmission when the state of the second and third actuators is reversed with respect to the first switching and second switching valves, respectively.

  • Patent number: 9188217
Abstract: Provided is a range switching device for performing switching among drive, reverse, and neutral ranges of a transmission. The device includes a first switching valve driven by a first actuator and a second switching valve driven by a second actuator. The valves switch an oil channel to transmit the oil pressure from an oil pressure supply source between first state and second states. When the first and second switching valves are in the first and second states respectively, the oil pressure is transmitted to the forward fastening element. When the first and second switching valves are in the second state and first states respectively, the oil pressure is transmitted to the reverse fastening element. When both the valves are in the first or second state, oil pressure transmission to the forward and reverse fastening elements is substantially blocked.
