Patent number: 8678341Abstract: To minimize the amount of air that may enter the damper chamber in a normally closed solenoid valve to stably maintain the damper capacity, the normally closed solenoid valve has a valve housing and a movable element. A cylinder having an open end is formed in one of the valve housing and the movable element. The cylinder has an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of a trunk of the movable element. A piston provided on the other of the valve chamber and the movable element is movable relative to the cylinder as the movable member moves. The piston is inserted into the cylinder through its open end to define a damper chamber between the piston and the cylinder. A restricted passage is formed between the damper chamber and the valve chamber through which hydraulic fluid can be moved between the valve chamber and the damper chamber.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2011Date of Patent: March 25, 2014Assignee: Advics Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shota Watanabe, Shin Sasaki, Kazuyuki Kobayashi, Takahiro Miyagi

Patent number: 7092173Abstract: A lens holder portion 3 for holding an objective lens 5 is supported on an end side of each of four suspension wires 2 so that it is capable of moving in a focusing direction and in a tracking direction. Minute uneven faces 2a are formed in the surface of each suspension wire 2. Adhesive agent 11 which fixes each suspension wire 2 on the lens holder 3 and fixing member 4 invades into dented portions in this uneven face 2a and hardens, thereby producing an anchor effect to improve bonding strength. Consequently, in an objective lens drive unit 1 in which the lens holder 3 is supported by a plurality of suspension wires 2, bonding strength to the suspension wire 2 can be improved.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2004Date of Patent: August 15, 2006Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Takahiro Miyagi, Yukihiko Koshimizu, Kenji Saka, Hiroshi Kitazawa
