  • Publication number: 20020190701
Abstract: A switching power supply circuit display an oscillation frequency will not be lowered with a light load. After the first output transistor 11 turns from conduction to cut-off, when the second output transistor 12 conducts, first, by means of the energy accumulated in the inductance element 13, a current will flow from the source terminal toward the drain terminal of the second output transistor 12, and then by means of the discharge of the output capacitor 14, a current will flow from the drain terminal toward the source terminal. Next, in case of a light load, the second output transistor 12, before being cut off by the control circuit 20, is cut off by the frequency control unit 50. By means of the discharge of the output capacitor 14, the lowering of oscillation frequency in case of a light load is prevented.

  • Patent number: 6420861
Abstract: The objective of this invention pertains to a drive signal supply circuit for a switching regulator. Switching regulator 1 of the present invention has amplitude center adjusting circuit 20. In switching regulator 1, a sawtooth wave and the output signal of error amplifier 11 are input to comparator 12, and a pulse signal that sets the ON/OFF state of switching transistor 2 is generated. Since the amplitude center voltage of the sawtooth wave is adjusted corresponding to the power source voltage Vcc, even when power source voltage Vcc is changed rapidly, the amplitude center adjusting circuit 20 can adjust the amplitude center voltage of the sawtooth wave at a high speed matching the rapid fluctuations, and this signal is output to comparator 12. Consequently, the pulse signal output from comparator 12 can follow the rapid fluctuations of power source voltage Vcc. As a result, the output voltage can follow the rapid fluctuations of the power source voltage.

  • Patent number: 6143413
Abstract: This invention provides a magnetic recording medium which, even when the friction time is prolonged or the scan speed is increased to achieve a long time recording, will leave no burnt matters onto a magnetic head, reduce spacing loss, and prevent an increase in error rate. This invention also provides a cleaning tape which, without causing any wear and damage of a magnetic head, will remove the head of burnt matters adherent thereto. They are actually a magnetic recording medium and cleaning tape which hold an antiseize agent containing a compound with a pyridine skeleton and two or more ligand sites. Alternatively, they are a magnetic recording medium and cleaning tape which hold an antiseize agent containing a diketone compound. The antiseize agent may contain a titanium coupling agent, carboxylic acid, and phosphor-containing compound, in addition to the above compound.

Abstract: A driving circuit with low power consumption and high operational speed, and including transistors Q.sub.1, Q.sub.2, Q.sub.3, Q.sub.4, P.sub.1 and P.sub.2, resistors R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, and diodes D.sub.1 and D.sub.2 which form a high-level feeding circuit for setting the output terminal level at the high level; and a constant-current source I.sub.BS, current mirror circuit MR.sub.12, transistors Q.sub.11, Q.sub.13 and Q.sub.14, resistor R.sub.11, and Schottky diode DS.sub.11 which form a low-level feeding circuit for setting the output terminal level at the low level. When the output terminal (T.sub.out) level is changed to the high level or low level, a large current flows into the base of transistor Q.sub.3 or Q.sub.13, and a rapid change takes place for the output terminal level. When the output terminal level reaches the prescribed voltage, the current flowing into the base of transistor Q.sub.3 or Q.sub.13 disappears.

  • Patent number: 5218701
Abstract: A command file processing system includes a terminal which inputs a password and commands which are to be executed. A command table prestores command names in correspondence with information which indicates passwords authorized to execute the commands. A command made up of the commands are to be executed and are registered in the command file. A judging part judges whether or not the password input from the terminal has authority to execute an arbitrary command which is to be registered in the command file when registering the commands in the command file. The judging part controls the command file creating part to reject the registration of the arbitrary command in the command file when the password has no authority to execute the arbitrary command.

  • Patent number: 5169703
Abstract: A magnetic recording medium having minute irregularities on the surface of a magnetic layer is disclosed. The value of the ratio A.sub.V /A.sub.P, where A.sub.V and A.sub.P are cross-sectional areas of valleys and projections as measured in a plane lower by 50 nm and in a plane higher than 50 nm than an intermediate plane of the magnetic layer, respectively, with the measurement being made using a three-dimensional roughness meter, is given by A.sub.V /A.sub.P .gtoreq.0.90, wherein the intermediate plane is a plane for which the cross-sectional area of the projections is approximately equal to that of the valleys. The minute irregularities on the surface of the magnetic layer are produced by providing a non-magnetic substrate presenting different surface roughnesses on its front surface and back surface, and by transferring surface irregularities constituting the surface roughness of the back surface of the non-magnetic substrate to the front surface of the substrate.
