  • Publication number: 20080042389
Abstract: There is provided a steering apparatus including a pinion communicating with an operation of a steering member, a rack shaft having a rack meshed with the pinion, and a support yoke resiliently coming into contact with the rack shaft, and being configured to convert rotation of the pinion into movement of the rack shaft in an axial direction in a meshing portion in which the pinion and rack mesh to each other. The steering apparatus comprises a detection unit for detecting a force applied to the support yoke to which a force acting on the meshing portion being transmitted from the rack shaft and a calculation unit for calculating a steering torque applied to the steering member based on the force detected by the detection unit, wherein the pinion and the rack are formed in helical gears.

  • Patent number: 6154927
Abstract: A hinge suitable for use in tube clamps for tubing in automobiles includes two members rotatably connected together. A pair of pin shafts protrude from either one of the two members, each pin shaft having an outer wall. A pair of support holes are formed in the other member, the pin shafts being inserted into the respective support holes so that the two members are rotatable relative to each other. Each support hole has a peripheral wall, a plurality of abutment portions protruding from either one of the peripheral wall of each support hole or each pin shaft. A plurality of escape recesses are formed in the other of the peripheral wall of each support hole and each pin shaft so as to locationally correspond to the respective abutment portions.

  • Patent number: 5266598
Abstract: Presented are compositions for disinfection of the skin. The composition is characterized in that it contains in an aqueous medium; 0.5 to 10 w/v % of chlorhexidine digluconate, 5 to 25 w/v % of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, 1 to 5 w/v % of fatty acid diethanolamide, 1 to 5 w/v % of alkyldimethylamine oxide, and macrogol at less than 10 w/v %. The polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and macrogol may be replaced with 10 to 35 w/v % of polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether. The composition may further contain 5 w/v % or lower polyoxyethylene lanolin.Since the composition will not solidify even when its solvent is evaporated, the plugging of the outlet opening of the dispenser will be avoided.
