  • Publication number: 20100079708
Abstract: This invention provides an antiglare film of a type with a low content of particles that makes it possible to increase contrast, the antiglare film demonstrating appropriate antiglare property, small white blurring, and a low level of glittering, and also a method for manufacturing the film and a transmission type liquid crystal display. In the antiglare film, a content ratio of the particles in the binder matrix is within a range of 0.5-5 wt. %, a refractive index difference |nA?nM| is equal to or greater than 0.010, R25/R is in the range of 0.7-0.9, R75/R is in the range of 1.10-1.30, and R75/H is in the range of 0.70-1.50.

  • Publication number: 20100073611
Abstract: The invention provides an antiglare film that has a low haze value, can maintain antireflection ability, and has inhibited reflection of external light, and also provides a manufacturing method thereof, and a transmission type liquid crystal display. The antiglare film includes a transparent substrate and an antiglare layer, wherein the antiglare layer is formed on the transparent substrate, has a concave-convex structure on the opposite surface of the antiglare layer from the transparent substrate, and includes a binder matrix and particles, the integrated reflectance of the antiglare layer at a wavelength of 550 nm is less than or equal to 4%, and a haze value of the antiglare layer is in the range of 3-15%.

  • Publication number: 20090279035
Abstract: The present invention provides an antiglare film which has (1) appropriate antiglare properties in a frontal direction, (2) no white-blurring (3) no surface appearance such as a kind of orange on the surface of an antiglare layer's side. It is a feature of the antiglare film of the present invention that it has an antiglare layer on a transparent substrate and the antiglare layer includes a binder matrix and particles of an acrylate-styrene copolymer. In addition, the binder matrix includes an acrylic material having a hydroxyl group, a quotient (RA/H) obtained by dividing the average diameter of the particle (RA) by the average thickness of the antiglare layer (H) is in the range of 0.30-0.

  • Publication number: 20090080080
Abstract: An antiglare film in which an antiglare layer containing particles and a binder matrix obtained by curing a material curable with ionizing radiation is directly provided on a triacetyl cellulose film. The antiglare layer is formed by a process of directly coating a coating liquid for forming an antiglare layer that contains at least the particles, the material curable with ionizing radiation, and a solvent on the triacetyl cellulose film and forming a coating film on the triacetyl cellulose film, a process of drying the coating film, and a process of curing the coating film by ionizing radiation. A haze difference (Hz(T)?Hz(P)) between a haze value (Hz(T)) of the antiglare layer formed on the triacetyl cellulose film and a haze value (Hz(P)) of an antiglare layer directly formed on a polyethylene terephthalate film by using the coating liquid for forming an antiglare layer under the same conditions as the antiglare layer formed on the triacetyl cellulose film is 1.3% or more to 3.2% or less.

  • Publication number: 20090059377
Abstract: An antiglare film includes an antiglare layer having particles and a binder matrix on a transparent base material. An antiglare film surface on the antiglare layer side has a concave-convex structure with a ten-point average roughness (Rz1) equal to or larger than 0.08 ?m and equal to or smaller than 0.10 ?m at a cutoff wavelength (?c) of 0.008 mm, the antiglare film surface on the antiglare layer side has a concave-convex structure with a ten-point average roughness (Rz2) equal to or larger than 1.90 ?m and equal to or smaller than 2.50 ?m at a cutoff wavelength (?c) of 0.8 mm, and the antiglare film surface on the antiglare layer side has a concave-convex structure with an average spacing (S) between local peaks equal to or larger than 0.033 mm and equal to or smaller than 0.050 mm at a cutoff wavelength (?c) of 0.8 mm.

  • Patent number: 7446960
Abstract: A lens driving device which can improve the positional accuracy of a moving lens while realizing a low component count and saving space. In the lens driving device provided in a lens barrel, a lens moves along the optical axis. A guide shaft is fixed to a lens barrel case and has a male thread portion formed along the optical axis. A rotor, which is driven by a motor, has a female thread portion that is to be threadably engaged with the male thread portion. A lens holder holds the lens and moves the lens along the optical axis in response to rotation of the rotor. An urging spring urges the lens holding member onto the rotary member.
