  • Patent number: 11101733
Abstract: A power supply control device includes a control unit that executes determination processing that, when an operation instruction is received from a switch input detection unit, determines, in a case in which the switch circuit is turned on, whether or not a power source voltage value will decrease to or below an acceptable voltage value on the basis of a power source voltage value obtained from a voltage detection unit and a load current value stored in a storage unit in advance; and in the determination processing, executes switch control processing which allows the switch circuit to be turned on if the power source voltage value is determined to not decrease to or below the acceptable voltage value and does not allow the switch circuit to be turned on if the power source voltage value is determined to decrease to or below the acceptable voltage value.

  • Patent number: 10599198
Abstract: A load driving device is configured to reduce erroneous blocking operation in a switch. The load driving device includes: a control unit configured to output a driving signal and a non-driving signal; a first switch unit configured to switch power between a power supply unit and a load to a conductive state and a non-conductive state, and switch the power path to a conductive state when a difference between a potential of the first input line and a potential of a conducting path on the load side is greater than a predetermined value; and a second switch unit configured to connect a power supply to the first input line into a conductive state upon the control unit outputting the driving signal, and to block conduction between the power supply path and the first input line upon the control unit outputting the non-driving signal.

  • Patent number: 9948085
Abstract: An electric-wire protection device protects at least one electric wire among an electric-wire bundle that bundles a plurality of electric wires that are used to supply power to a plurality of loads from a power source Ba. Calculation circuit calculates an increased temperature of the electric wire from an initial temperature at the time that the estimate begins, based on a load current Is that has been detected and a thermal characteristic of the electric wire, and estimates the temperature of the electric wire by adding the increased temperature to the initial temperature. Current flow information supply portion supplies to the calculation circuit current flow information related to current flow to a load other than a subject load. Calculation circuit corrects the initial temperature by a correction value that corresponds to the current flow information that exists at the time the estimate begins.
