  • Patent number: 7900741
Abstract: The other end of a hub portion is located farther from an attachment portion at a lateral portion, which is located in a lateral direction with respect to the vehicle, than at a vertical portion, which is located in a vertical direction with respect to the vehicle. The vertical portion of the hub portion has a concave end face on the side of the other end of the hub portion, which is formed to get closer to the attachment portion as the concave end face approaches a portion closest to the attachment portion substantially at the center of the hub portion in the lateral direction.

  • Publication number: 20090219683
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a notebook computer has, on the side surface of the device main body, a pin jack to receive a rod antenna. The rod antenna has a pin plug to be inserted in the pin jack and is rotatable when attached. The rod antenna is made of a flexibly bendable material. This prevents the rod antenna or its connection portion from being broken when a hand accidentally contacts it.

  • Publication number: 20070165884
Abstract: An information processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an amplifying unit configured to allow switching between a first gain characteristic and a second gain characteristic to be performed and a switching unit for performing switching between the first gain characteristic and the second gain characteristic. The first gain characteristic enables obtainment of a substantially linear input-output characteristic. The second gain characteristic has a gain higher than that of the first gain characteristic and enables obtainment of an input-output characteristic having a saturation characteristic.

  • Patent number: 7178043
Abstract: A controller reads a current value from a current sensor at regular intervals and calculates the average power consumption (Pavg) for a specified length of time (T). When the average power consumption (Pavg) exceeds an upper value (Pu) of power consumption, the controller performs throttling control of a CPU at a throttling rate of r %. If, nevertheless, the average power consumption (Pavg) is above the upper value (Pu), the controller sequentially increases the throttling rate in steps of r %. When the average power consumption (Pavg) is reduced below a lower value (Pl) as a result of the throttling control, the controller sequentially decreases the throttling rate in steps of r % until the upper value (Pu) is reached.

  • Publication number: 20050069159
Abstract: An electronic apparatus comprising a housing having an outer surface and a keyboard provided on the housing and exposed outside the housing. The outer surface of the housing has a palm rest in front of the keyboard and a speaker receptacle on the side of the keyboard and the palm rest. A speaker unit is provided in the speaker receptacle. The speaker unit can be rotated between a first position where the speaker unit is held in the speaker receptacle and a second position where the speaker unit protrudes from the speaker receptacle.
