  • Publication number: 20240151007
Abstract: An energy calculation unit calculates an energy amount for each of a plurality of sides of a support polygon of a work machine in which the energy amount is required to cause the work machine to fall when the side serves as a rotation axis. An evaluation unit evaluates a possibility of the work machine falling based on the calculated energy amount for each of the sides.

  • Publication number: 20240152155
Abstract: A system searches for a track for a vehicle to travel automatically. The system includes a processor. The processor includes a route search unit, a restriction condition generation unit, and a track search unit. The route search unit searches for a series having elements of a position and posture of the vehicle, which is a route for moving from an initial position to a target position of the vehicle, based on a first restriction condition representing a position of an obstacle. The restriction condition generation unit generates a second restriction condition in which a penalty value increases according to a deviation distance from the route. The track search unit searches for a series having elements of a position, posture, speed, and steering angle of the vehicle, which is a track for moving from the initial position to the target position of the vehicle, based on the second restriction condition.

  • Patent number: 6659074
Abstract: A fuel injector for a spark ignition direct injection engine includes an injection having plurality of spray holes formed in a generally semicircular pattern wherein the spray holes have a L/D (length over diameter) ratio of not more than 2.0. In a preferred embodiment, the injector nozzle has an internal sac and an end wall with part spherical inner and outer surfaces formed with a common center, the pattern of the spray holes includes a semicircle formed by an arc having ends connected by a straight line wherein the spray holes have outlet openings that are spaced along the arc and slightly below the straight line, and the spray holes lying on the semicircle extend from the common center while the spray holes lying below the straight line have axes extending from above the common center. In an engine, the flat side of the spray is aimed toward the near side of a piston bowl recess.

  • Patent number: 4930480
Abstract: An air-fuel ratio control system for controlling the air-fuel ratio in an internal combustion engine includes an arrangement for switching from open control of the air-fuel ratio to feedback control thereof. A water temperature sensor is provided for detecting the engine water temperature, and a control unit for controlling the air-fuel ratio is also provided. The control unit includes an arrangement for switching from open control to feedback control when the engine water temperature reaches a selected value. The selected value is determined by the control unit in response to a detection signal received from the water temperature sensor at the time the engine is started.

  • Patent number: 4764884
Abstract: A control unit for use in a vehicle includes a failure detecting apparatus for detecting failures of solenoids which are used for various kinds of controls of the vehicle. The failure detecting apparatus includes a solenoid driving circuit which sequentially supplies currents to the solenoids, and includes an input circuit which receives an output signal from each solenoid which operates normally. When a solenoid doesn't operate normally, no output signal is returned. Therefore, a control circuit of the apparatus detects the absence of the output signal from such solenoid and thereby determines that this solenoid is defective. When the failure of a solenoid is thus detected, the control circuit outputs an alarm signal to the alarm indicator through the alarm driving circuit, the alarm signal identifying the defective solenoid. A light emitting diode corresponding to the defective solenoid may then be lit to visually indicate the failure.
