  • Publication number: 20160372847
Abstract: A battery terminal unit includes a battery terminal that is assembled on a battery post and also includes a battery terminal stopper. The battery terminal stopper includes a first rotation preventing portion that abuts against a first abutment surface formed on a side surface of a battery housing in a state where the battery terminal is assembled on the battery post so as to be able to restrict rotation of the battery terminal about the battery post as the rotating center. The battery terminal stopper also includes a second rotation preventing portion that abuts against a second abutment surface formed on the battery housing along a direction intersecting with the first abutment surface in the assembled state so as to be able to restrict rotation of the battery terminal about the battery post as the rotating center.

  • Publication number: 20160254518
Abstract: A battery terminal includes a penetrating plate disposed to penetrate annular portions from one end portions of the annular portions to the other end portions of the annular portions with slits interposed therebetween; a fastening bolt supported by a threaded hole of the penetrating plate to be rotatable about an axial direction; and a spacer as a pressing force converting member disposed to come into contact with edge portions of the annular portions from an end portion side of the penetrating plate where the threaded hole is provided, and converts an axial-direction fastening force, which is generated between the fastening bolt and the threaded hole with the rotation of the fastening bolt about the axial direction, into a long-side-direction pressing force that presses the annular portions in a direction, in which intervals of the slits of the annular portions are reduced, of a long-side direction.

  • Publication number: 20160203935
Abstract: Provided is a fusible link unit (electrical component unit) including a fusible link (electrical component), a battery terminal fixed to an electrode post (electrode) of a battery, and a support member formed as a different body from the battery terminal and fixed to the battery, the support member supporting the fusible link (electrical component), in which the fusible link (electrical component) includes a main link body (main electrical component body) and a power supply terminal made of conductive metal to be exposed from the main link body (main electrical component body) and electrically connected to the electrode post (electrode) through the battery terminal, and the support member supports the main link body (main electrical component body) such that the main link body extends in an orthogonal direction substantially orthogonal to an installation surface portion.

  • Publication number: 20160203936
Abstract: A connection portion of a locking member is bent such that the connection portion is made apart from a second upper surface portion as the connection portion is made apart from a first arm portion, and is bent such that the connection portion is made apart from a side surface portion as the connection portion is made apart from a second arm portion. Even when a tolerance is generated in a direction substantially orthogonal to the side surface portion at the time of installing a base body in an installation surface portion of a battery, it is possible to absorb the tolerance by deforming the connection portion, and to lock a locked portion in a lower end edge.

  • Publication number: 20160203933
Abstract: Provided is a fusible link unit in which a case includes case-side locking portions to be locked in a fusible link so as to affix the fusible link, the fusible link includes fusible link-side locking portions locked in the case-side locking portions, the fusible link-side locking portion on one side in a longitudinal direction is provided closer to a connected position of a bus bar than the fusible link-side locking portion on the other side in the longitudinal direction, and a gap size between the fusible link-side locking portion on the one side and the case-side locking portion in a vertical direction is made greater than a gap size between the fusible link-side locking portion on the other side and the case-side locking portion in the vertical direction.

  • Publication number: 20160126530
Abstract: A battery terminal includes a penetration plate arranged to penetrate from one end portions of annular portions to the other end portions interposing slits, a fastening bolt supported to be rotatable around an axial direction by a threaded hole provided on the other end portion of the penetration plate, and a spacer arranged in contact with the annular portions from the other end portion side of the penetration plate and converting a tightening force in the axial direction arising along with the rotation of the fastening bolt around the axial direction into a pressing force that presses the annular portions from a long-side direction. The penetration plate is arranged to penetrate a clearance of the pair of annular portions. The pair of annular portions includes projecting portions as a clearance reduction portion that reduces the clearance in at least a part of the penetration area of the penetration plate.

  • Publication number: 20160126529
Abstract: A terminal-securing auxiliary member includes a terminal securing portion which is to be fastened to a battery post and which is to be secured to a battery terminal, the battery post disposed at a post disposing portion of a battery, the battery having a portion of irregular height on an upper surface thereof in a circumferential edge of the post disposing portion, the battery terminal to which a battery-direct-attached type fuse unit is to be fastened; a battery joining portion which engages with the portion of the irregular height to restrict movement in a direction along the upper surface of the battery; and a connecting portion which connects the terminal securing portion and the battery joining portion.

  • Publication number: 20160111799
Abstract: A battery terminal body includes a cylindrical fastening portion and a first grip portion. The cylindrical fastening portion has a fastening aperture, a first extension fastening portion and a second extension fastening portion. The first grip portion is connected to the first extension fastening portion and includes a first through hole. A second grip portion includes a second through hole overlapping with a part of the first through hole. An outer diameter of a tapered portion increases gradually from an outer diameter narrower than a region where the first through hole and the second through hole overlap with each other before insertion to an outer diameter wider than the overlapping region. When inserted into the first through hole and the second insertion hole, the tapered portion expands the overlapping region to thereby narrow the fastening aperture.
