The reading unit reads information of a purchased commodity. The receiving unit receives a payment of a price. The processing unit executes settlement based upon the information of the purchased commodity read by the reading unit and information of the payment of the price received by the receiving unit. The forcing unit forces the settlement when a number of items of the purchased commodities, whose information is read by the reading unit, reaches a regulated number of items.
