    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display screen; a display control unit configured to display content on the display screen of the display apparatus; and a detection unit configured to detect approach or contact between a wireless device and the display apparatus. The display control unit performs predetermined display on a basis of information acquired via wireless communication from the wireless device in a case where the approach or contact between the wireless device and the display screen is detected by the detection unit while predetermined content is displayed on the display screen, and does not perform the predetermined display in a case where the approach or contact between the wireless device and the display apparatus is detected by the detection unit while predetermined content is not displayed on the display screen.
