  • Patent number: 9018503
Abstract: An apparatus is provided, for calculating a practice time. The apparatus is used by a user to calculate such practice time that he/she requires to improve his/her playing technique to reach a predetermined progressing level at the playing technique. In the apparatus, a progressing-level evaluating unit evaluates a progressing level of a playing technique of the user who operates a playable unit. A history of the evaluated progressing level is recorded in a progressing-level recording unit. An operation-number counting unit counts the number of operations executed on the playable unit by the user every unit time. A history of the counted number of operations is recorded in an operation-number recording unit. A practice-time calculating unit calculates the practice time based on the history of the progressing level recorded in the progressing-level recording unit and the history of the number of operations recorded in the operation-number recording unit.

  • Patent number: 8955361
Abstract: In a steering device having a steering lock device, stress applied to a base portion of a flange section is reduced. Relief portions have round corners formed where the relief portions meet the outer periphery of the outer column, respectively. With the relief portions concave by ?3 from the mounting surface, radius R1 of each of the round corners of the relief portions can be made larger than radius R2 of a round corner of the mounting surface. This makes it possible to avoid interference between the relief portions and the corner at an inner end, in the vehicle width direction, of the right clamping surface of the steering lock device.

  • Patent number: 8912421
Abstract: A chord-information storage stores chord-type information and information on relationship between constituent notes including a tonic of the chord as chord information. Upon specification of a tonic, a first instruction display reads out chord information, and then causes a display to show relationship information for a constituent note other than the tonic, chord-type information, and an indicator indicating positional relationship between the tonic and each constituent note on music-playing operators. Every time another note is specified after the tonic, a second instruction display extracts chord information including relationship information that matches with relationship between the specified tonic and all notes specified after the tonic, and causes the display to show relationship information of a constituent note other than the specified notes, chord-type information, and an indicator indicating positional relationship between the tonic and each constituent note on music-playing operators.

  • Patent number: 8869646
Abstract: In a steering device having a steering lock device, the stress applied to around a through hole formed in a column to which the steering block device is attached is reduced. Since there is a slight clearance formed, in the vehicle height direction, between the outer periphery of the lock pin and the through hole and also between the guide groove and the engaging convex part, the clamping force is born by the flange section and first ribs and also by the flange section and second ribs without any force applied to the through hole. The engaging convex part is not fitted in the through hole, so that the through hole is only required to be large enough to allow the lock pin whose cross-sectional area is smaller than that of the engaging convex part to come in and out. This makes it possible to reduce the cross-sectional area of the through hole and thereby increase the strength of the outer column.

  • Publication number: 20130186153
Abstract: In a steering device having a steering lock device and a telescopic clamp device, the strength of a column in a key-locked state and the force of telescopic clamping are secured. A flange section and ribs are formed between a through hole which a lock pin comes in and leaves and a slit for reducing the inner circumferential diameter of an outer column so as to increase the strength of the outer column. Hence, both the strength of the outer column against the bending moment applied to the lock pin in a key-locked state and the strength of the outer column against telescopic clamping effected by reducing the inner peripheral diameter of the outer column can be secured.
