  • Patent number: 6430807
Abstract: As means for handling elongate and flat workpieces flowing in a manufacturing line, three handling devices are provided. First one is a workpiece transmitting device which functions to push down, one after another, the frontmost one of a mass of raised workpieces horizontally put on a table structure. Second one is a parts-mass compressing device which compresses a mass of raised workpieces horizontally put on a table structure to a desired smaller size by using moving and fixed plates. Third one is an assembling device which connects a header pipe to each side of a compressed mass of raised workpieces horizontally put on a table structure.

  • Publication number: 20020101334
Abstract: A display screen switches between a monitor display and a trouble display. If a pause switch on the trouble display screen is operated, the display screen can be fixed to the trouble display for a prescribed time or until a restart or release switch on the trouble display is operated. The monitor display and the trouble display can be cyclically displayed. During cyclical display, a jump switch on the trouble display can be operate, and the display screen of the display device will return to the monitor display from the trouble display and the monitor display can be displayed for a prescribed time (for instance, 5 minutes). Further, a cancel switch on the trouble display can be operated, so that the trouble display can be kept or returned to the monitor display.

  • Patent number: 6341570
Abstract: A method of sewing the toe of a sock is provided which can automatically take out a sock pattern of knitted fabric from a sock knitting machine and sew up the selvedge at the toe portion of the sock pattern of knitted fabric thus improving both the efficiency of production and the energy saving. When a sock pattern of knitted fabric has been fabricated by the sock knitting machine, the transfer needles mounted on a group of transfer needles equipped movable tables are advanced at their tips close to the hooks of knitting needles. Then, the sock pattern of knitted fabric is lifted up and turned inside out by suction to transfer its loops at the toe portion from the knitting needles to the corresponding transfer needles. As a result, the sock pattern of knitted fabric turned inside out is transferred from the sock knitting machine to the transfer needles equipped movable tables.

  • Patent number: 6240896
Abstract: An arrangement for controlling diesel engine fuel injection including a first sensor that detects engine temperature and a second sensor that detects outside air temperature. An associated electronic control unit adjusts the amount of advance of pilot injection timing relative to main injection timing based on the difference between the engine temperature and the outside air temperature. Since the amount of advance is determined based on the engine temperature and the outside air temperature, the warmup state of an engine is considered in determining the amount of advance. This means that differences in the temperature inside an engine cylinder are considered. Accordingly, it is possible to obtain an optimum amount of advance.
