    Abstract: Provided is an ink container suitable for forming a stable high-quality print image and obtaining stable operation of a printing device by enabling precipitates of coarse-grained ink etc. standing in an ink container body to be left in the ink container body and by eliminating troubles due to the supply of such precipitates of coarse-grained ink etc. to the printing device. A region for residual ink liquid 4 and a sheet-entry preventing member 6 as shape retaining means 5 are provided on the bottom 2a side of a bag-like ink container body 2 formed from a flexible sheet. The region for residual ink liquid 4 is disposed in a position lower than one end 3a of an ink supply opening part 3 fixed to the ink container body 2. When the sheet composing the ink container body 2 moves, the sheet-entry preventing member 6 prevents the sheet from entering the region for residual ink liquid 4, thereby keeping the shape and volume of the region part for residual ink liquid 4.

    Abstract: A variable volume container includes a cylindrical main body having an end wall at an end thereof; an outlet projecting from an outer surface of said end wall for allowing a content to be supplied; a piston member fitted into said main body sealingly and slidably in an axial direction of said main body for defining a variable volume storage chamber between itself and said end wall; a plug member detachably mounted to said outlet; and an impact resisting reinforcement disposed at said end wall. The reinforcement may be a part of said end wall having a thickness gradually increased toward said outlet, or may be a rib shaped projection. Such a variable volume container placed upside down in packaging or transport is reinforced at the end wall of the main body where the outlet is disposed. Thus, impact is not concentrated at the root portion of the outlet but distributed, so that the outlet is prevented from being damaged, and the container is placed more stably.

    Abstract: A liquid container is provided, which comprises a bag-forming flexible container body, a pouring outlet provided to communicate with an inside of the container body, and a support member provided in the container body for inhibiting deformation of the container body occurring near the pouring outlet when the contained liquid is sucked, in which the support members is a member reinforcing the container body with a form like a funnel narrowed at the pouring outlet. If the funnel-like reinforcing portion occupies almost one half of the surface area of the container proper, it can be prevented that the pouring outlet is closed even if the non-reinforced portion of the container body is housed in the support member when the contained liquid is discharged. Therefore, a contained liquid can be smoothly taken out, and the container is especially suitable for containing a liquid having a relatively high viscosity or a liquid sensitive to the contact with air and the like.
