  • Publication number: 20160297554
Abstract: A form-fill-seal machine is configured to adjust for changes in the thickness of bags within a short time, and is provided with seal jaws, gas removal members, an air cylinder, and a control unit. The seal jaws transverse-seal a cylindrical film in a widthwise direction forming a bag. The gas removal members come into contact against the bag prior to transverse sealing of an upper edge part, discharging a gas upward from the bag. The air cylinder moves the gas removal members, switching the position of the gas removal members between a first position and a second position with respect to the seal jaws. The control unit, in a time slot just prior to the start of a transverse sealing action performed by the seal jaws, changes the timing of switching between the first position and the second position, and adjusts the amount of gas discharged from the bag.

  • Patent number: 9435303
Abstract: In a fuel injection valve support structure which can apply a substantially constant set load, the fuel injection valve has first and second load receiving portions, the first load receiving portion being supported on the engine, the second load receiving portion being supported on an elastic support member which receives a set load from a fuel supply cap. The elastic support member includes a base plate placed on the second load receiving portion, and an elastic piece curving rearward from one end toward the other end of the base plate, with an apex portion in pressure contact with the cap, the base plate has a portion overhanging from the second load receiving portion and supporting a tip end portion of the elastic piece. The overhang portion starts bending when a load the overhang portion receives from the cap through the elastic piece reaches or exceeds a predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20160194100
Abstract: A packaging machine, includes a pair of sealing jaws that sandwiches and seals a sealed portion of a tubular film. The packaging machine is provided with a first rotating shaft for supporting one sealing jaw, a second rotating shaft for supporting the other sealing jaw, a rotary encoder, and an entrapment determination part. When the first rotating shaft and the second rotating shaft approach or move away, the rotary encoder measures the movement amount of the first rotating shaft in relation to the second rotating shaft in an approaching direction or a moving away direction. The entrapment determination part determines whether or not articles are present in the sealed portion based on the movement amount.

  • Publication number: 20160160822
Abstract: In a vibration insulating structure of a fuel injection valve in an internal combustion engine, a vibration insulating device installed between an annular step portion of a valve installation hole provided in a cylinder head and an outer peripheral step portion of the valve fitted in the hole is formed from a ring laminated body including an upper ring engaged with the outer peripheral step portion, and at least two vibration insulating rings clamped between the upper ring and the annular step portion and superposed on each other. Multiple dents and projections each having a fine and uneven shape are formed on at least an abutment surface of each of the vibration insulating rings which abuts against an opposed one of the vibration insulating rings. Accordingly, such device can be easily obtained from a simple structure and inhibit vibration of the valve effectively, reducing vibration noise and manufacturing cost.

  • Publication number: 20090165588
Abstract: Since lubricating oil is injected to a tooth of a small-diameter helical gear immediately before meshing begins, the injected lubricating oil can be captured between the small-diameter helical gear and a large-diameter helical gear and successively flow along meshing tooth surfaces. Therefore, lubrication of the tooth surface and cooling of the tooth surface can be simultaneously performed with an appropriate quantity of lubricating oil to enable a reduction in tooth surface wear and a longer gear life. Moreover, a lubricating oil film formed on the tooth surface makes it possible to prevent direct contact between the tooth surfaces of both the small-diameter helical gear and the large-diameter helical gear. Since a covered tooth surface effect is also obtained, the occurrence of pitching and scoring can be suppressed. By injecting lubricating oil directly to the small-diameter helical gear, which has a small heat capacity, a cooling effect thus obtained can suppress a temperature increase of the small gear.

  • Patent number: 5651909
Abstract: A surface pressure loading and releasing mechanism in a sliding nozzle device for a molten metal vessel is used to reduce the hot manual work involved in loading and releasing surface pressure on plates and to carry out loading and releasing of the surface pressure by a simple operation. In a sliding nozzle device for applying and releasing surface pressure between plate bricks by moving an opening/closing metal frame having elastic force loading and a sliding metal frame disposed between a fixed metal frame and the opening/closing metal frame, a surface pressure block is removably disposed between brackets for mounting the opening/closing metal frame on the fixed metal frame. Surface pressure loading and releasing is carried out by moving the opening/closing metal frame, by causing a projecting portion of the sliding metal frame to project into the opening/closing metal frame, and by having a molten steel passage hole in the sliding metal frame passing therethrough abut with the opening/closing metal frame.
