Abstract: A drive positioning apparatus which comprises at least one motor for driving a seat or a steering wheel shaft, a preset memory for memorizing operating data of the motor, a memory drive circuit for actuating the motor automatically according to the memorized data, a manual switch for actuating the motor manually, an ignition switch provided with a KEY contact, an IGN contact and an ACC contact for supplying electric power to electrical equipment which is so structured as to change to its OFF-state interlockingly by an ON-operation of a ST contact used for actuating an engine starter motor, and a control mechanism for prohibiting the automatic actuation of the motor in a case where predetermined time elapses after the ACC contact changes to the OFF-state from its ON-state while the motor is being actuated automatically.

Abstract: A steering wheel positioner for an automatic driving position system is provided with an actuator for driving a steering wheel shaft, a tilt sensor for detecting an inclination of the steering wheel shaft, a car speed sensor, a neutral-park relay for detecting the vehicle to be stepped and a controller for memorizing a steering wheel position suitable for the driver, for driving a steering wheel to the memorized steering wheel position through the actuator, for driving the steering wheel downwardly when the tilt sensor is abnormal, and for preventing the steering wheel from driving in the downward direction when the tilt sensor is abnormal and the neutral-park delay detects the vehicle to be traveling.

Abstract: A power seat apparatus which comprises motors for moving a seat in respective direction, relays for changing rotational directions of the respective motors, a preset memory for memorizing a seat position suitable for respective drivers, a memory drive circuit for driving the motors so as to move the seat into the memorized position automatically according to data memorized in the preset memory, a manual drive circuit for driving the motors according to an operation of a manual switch and a control mechanism. The control mechanism detects the contact fault in the relays, or controls the motors accurately by counting the number of inertial rotations as a proper directional rotation without misjudgement even if the manual switch is operated in the reverse direction when the motors are driven automatically in one direction.

Abstract: An automatic positioning apparatus which comprises motors for actuating a vehicle mounted device, sensors for detecting position of the vehicle mounted device such as a seat, steering wheel or the like, and a control means which memorizes the position of the vehicle mounted device and drives it into the memorized position automatically and which sets a motor-suspensive zone, a renewal-prohibitive zone and a readjustment prohibitive zone in the vicinity of the memorized position, and stops the motors when the vehicle mounted device enters the motor-suspensive zone, prohibits to renewal the memorized position when the vehicle mounted device is within the renewal-prohibitive zone and prohibits an automatic action within the readjustment-prohibitive zone.
