  • Publication number: 20230227254
Abstract: In order to increase a stored amount of cards in a card handling apparatus that discharges cards stored in the card cassettes one by one, the card handling apparatus is provided with two card cassettes. A first card cassette and a second card cassette are arranged along a conveying path for the card, and when all cards stored in the first card cassette is discharged, the card is discharged from the second card cassette. The first card cassette has a gate for allowing the card discharged from the second card cassette to enter on a back surface. The card discharged from the second card cassette enters the first card cassette from the gate, passing the inside and being discharged from a discharge port of the first card cassette.

  • Publication number: 20220284754
Abstract: A coin entering from a depositing port of a coin selector is identified by a denomination while passing through a coin passage. A coin of a predetermined denomination is stored, and a coin of a denomination other than the predetermined denomination is discharged to the outside. Provided is a coin selector including a removal mechanism that suitably removes a coin clogged in a coin passage. The coin selector includes a first pushing portion and a second pushing portion that push a coin in a moving direction of the coin and a direction intersecting with the moving direction in the coin passage from a depositing port for depositing the coin to a dispensing port for discharging the coin. When the coin is clogged, the coin is pushed by a pushing unit to eliminate the coin clogging, and the clogged coin is discharged to the dispensing port.

  • Patent number: 11380154
Abstract: A coin ejection apparatus makes it possible to surely prevent incorrect dispensing due to incorrect normal rotation of a rotary disk or disks in one or more coin ejection units in a non-driving state while permitting normal and reverse rotations of the disk in a driving state. An unnecessary rotation prevention mechanism has a prevention member that prevents unnecessary rotation of the disk in the non-driving state. Engagement/disengagement of the prevention member with a coupling gear is switched responsive to shift between the driving state and the non-driving state. When the relevant coin ejection unit is in the driving state, the prevention member and the coupling gear are disengaged, permitting normal and reverse rotations of the disk. When the relevant coin ejection unit is in the non-driving state, the prevention member and the coupling gear are engaged, preventing incorrect normal rotation of the disk to result in incorrect dispensing.

  • Patent number: 11380155
Abstract: A multi-unit coin ejection apparatus that drives selectively coin ejection units using a single motor is provided, which eliminates a selectively coin-emitting mechanism such as a shutter provided in each coin ejection unit. Coin ejection units are selectively driven by switching a destination of a driving force of a first motor using a switching unit. The switching unit has first coupling gears respectively provided for the coin ejection units, second coupling gears engageable with the corresponding first coupling gears, and a coupling gear displacement mechanism configured to displace the second coupling gears between a connection position and a non-connection position. The coupling gear displacement mechanism is operated in response to an instruction such that a designated one of the second coupling gears is disposed at the connection position and a remainder of the second coupling gears is/are disposed at the non-connection position in accordance with the instruction.

  • Patent number: 10210695
Abstract: An article dispensing apparatus capable of dispensing repeatedly the lowest-positioned article from a stack of articles while keeping the second lowest-positioned article in a stable situation is provided. A retainer for retaining the stack of articles is formed in a storing space of a storing section. In a dispensing section for dispensing the lowest-positioned article from the stack through the dispensing opening, a pusher includes an article placement portion on which the remainder of the articles is placed after the lowest-positioned article is dispensed from the stack. During the dispensing operation, the remainder of the articles is received temporarily on the article placement portion of the pusher in such a way that a lowest-positioned article of the remainder (i.e., the second lowest-positioned article in the stack) keeps its ordinary attitude in the storing space.

  • Patent number: 9878867
Abstract: A card feeding apparatus realizes random and selective feeding of cards of different types or kinds. This apparatus includes a card supplying device, a card holding and feeding device, and a controller. The card holding and feeding device includes a table set having tables on which cards from the card supplying device are held, a table set supporting structure (e.g., a frame), a table set moving device (e.g., a lifting mechanism), and a card conveying device that conveys cards held on the tables. In response to a card feeding signal, the table set supporting structure is temporarily stopped using the table set moving device such that a target table designated from the tables by the said signal is located at the card conveying position, and the card holding and feeding device is activated, thereby feeding a card on the target table by the card conveying device.

  • Patent number: 9708125
Abstract: A card processing apparatus detects an insertion/non-insertion of a card and a position of an inserted card regardless of any existence/non-existence of an opaque part on any position of the card. A first card detector is disposed at a first position in a conveying path, a second card detector is disposed at a second position after the first card detector, and a third card detector is disposed at a third position in the conveying path. A conveying mechanism is controlled by detection signals outputted from the first to third card detectors. Each of the card detectors include an operating member movable from a standby position to a shifted position due to contact with the card. A sensor detects any displacement of the operating member, wherein one of the detection signals provides a detection/non-detection of a card, an insertion or non-insertion of a card and an inserted card position.

  • Patent number: 8322506
Abstract: An end of a detection body provided contactable with an upper side peripheral surface of a coin rolling on a coin path hooks into reeding of the coin, and thus the detection body is moved to a moving direction. The movement of the detection body moves a receiving portion in the same direction, and rotates in a predetermined direction an axis support integrally provided with the receiving portion. The rotation of the axis receiver retracts from the coin path a sorting body projecting to the coin path. A release body proceeds to the coin path. The retraction of the sorting body from the coin path allows the coin to further roll on the coin path, press the release body, rotate the axis support reversely, and return the detection body and the sorting body to a standby position.

  • Patent number: 7980420
Abstract: A card dispensing apparatus having a compact configuration has a housing to support a stack of cards on a fixed base. Openings in the base member can permit surfaces from a conveying member to extend into the housing and contact a surface of the lowest card. The conveyer member can move horizontal to a release point and retract beneath the base member to return to an initial position. A movement unit provides a cyclic looping movement of the conveyer member into and out of the housing for transporting cards. A feed unit positioned at the dispensing point of the cards can grasp and release the cards from the card dispensing apparatus.
