  • Patent number: 10105052
Abstract: An ophthalmic imaging apparatus of an embodiment includes a measurement unit, an eye model generation unit, and a simulation execution unit. The measurement unit is configured to acquire a data set by applying optical coherence tomography to a three-dimensional region of a subject's eye including an area extending from an anterior surface of a cornea to a surface of a retina. The eye model generation unit is configured to acquire values of one or more parameters of the subject's eye by analyzing the data set acquired by the measurement unit, and to generate a three-dimensional eye model based on the values acquired. The simulation execution unit executes a simulation based on the three-dimensional eye model generated by the eye model generation unit.

  • Patent number: 9918628
Abstract: To evaluate the accommodation function of an eye in detail, an accommodation function evaluation apparatus includes an accommodative stimulus applying unit, a measurement unit, and an analyzer. The accommodative stimulus applying unit is configured to apply an accommodative stimulus to the eye. The measurement unit is configured to perform optical coherence tomography for a target site in the eye including at least part of the crystalline lens. The analyzer is configured to analyze data obtained by the optical coherence tomography of the eye, to which the accommodative stimulus is being applied, to generate evaluation information related to the accommodation function of the eye.

  • Patent number: 9693681
Abstract: An ophthalmic apparatus for measuring an ocular function in a non-contact manner, comprising two or more independent Z alignment detection systems for projecting an alignment light to an eye to be examined and detects a Z alignment position of the eye based on a reflection light from the eye and a control unit for controlling an alignment, wherein the Z alignment detection systems are adapted to have different magnifications, wherein the Z alignment detection systems project the reflection light from the eye to a common photodetection element and the control unit is adapted to execute a coarse Z alignment based on a signal obtained by a Z alignment detection system with a low magnification among the signals obtained from the photodetection element and to execute a precise Z alignment based on a signal obtained by a Z alignment detection system with a high magnification.
