Abstract: Disclosed is an image display system having a plurality of CRT display screens. The system is of the type in which a number of images of specific portions of a patient having a specific ID code are selected from among a multitude of X-ray image taken by a plurality of shooting methods, and when the regions of interest are specified, a plurality of appropriate images are further selected using the previously stored aptitude values for the regions and shooting methods and displayed on said plurality of CRT display screens. In order that the segments to be inspected can be pointed to on the screen on which the image of the patient is displayed, a memory is provided which is adapted to previously store codes corresponding to the specific image of the patient and to specify the respective regions of the image in such a manner that they correspond to the pixel positions of the image.

Abstract: In an image input device, in which an image is photographed by a television camera using a plurality of operational modes having numbers of scanning lines different from each other, a video signal thus obtained is subjected to an analogue to digital conversion and a digital image signal is stored, one of a plurality of sampling clocks obtained by dividing a main clock is selected; the analogue to digital conversion is effected by using the sampling clock thus selected; and at the same time synchronization signals of the horizontal and the vertical scannings of the television camera are formed by counting the selected sampling clock.

Abstract: An optical information processor records predetermined information along a track on a recording medium through the irradiation of a light beam intensity-modulated in accordance with the predetermined information. A tracking signal obtained when the light beam traces the track, is compared with first and second preset values which define a predetermined range. When the tracking signal departs from the predetermined range, the intensity modulation of the light beam or the recording operation is stopped, thereby preventing data destruction which otherwise occurs due to the digression of the light beam from the track.

Abstract: A figure displaying device operates to display a plurality of fundamental figures each defined by a preset number of vectors on a display device of the raster scanning type. The figure displaying device stores the start and end point coordinates of the respective vectors of the respective fundamental figures and the gradient data of the respective vectors of the fundamental figures, and determines whether the respective vectors are located on a horizontal scanning line or not for each fundamental figure prior to the scanning operation of the horizontal scanning line. If the vectors are located on the horizontal scanning line the gradient data corresponding to the vectors on the aforementioned horizontal scanning line is read out and added to the start point coordinates thereby to renew the start point coordinates.

Abstract: A data transfer system for use in a data processing system using a direct memory access mode of operation, which is equipped with a processor, a main memory and an input/output device. The data transfer system is characterized in that, when a group of data to be transferred exists in a plurality of areas of continuous addresses of the afore-mentioned memory, a table is provided in the afore-mentioned main memory with identifying information for each group of data indicative of the first address and the number of data items to be transferred from each area of continuous addresses.

Abstract: Herein disclosed is a figure displaying device for producing and displaying a figure on a raster scan television. The figure displaying device includes first memory means for storing the vertical and horizontal coordinate values of the stop information of one frame to be displayed and second memory means for storing preset information. Further inclusive is control means for locating such dot information having a vertical coordinate value corresponding to the vertical scan of the television from the first memory means so that the dot information may be stored at the address of the second memory means corresponding to the horizontal coordinate value of the dot information located.
