  • Publication number: 20230158251
Abstract: An indwelling needle having: inner needle that punctures living body; outer needle inserted into living body with inner needle as inner needle penetrates outer needle and punctures living body; main body disposed along axis of inner needle; branch part that branches from main body. Indwelling needle includes: outer needle hub has passage in communication with interior of outer needle; elastic member disposed within outer needle hub, penetrated by inner needle, and flexible solid part that blocks fluid flow to proximal end side of main body when inner body is removed; holder attached to proximal end of elastic member. Elastic member forms at least part of passage that allows communication between interior of outer needle and branch part, has end surface inclined relative to axial direction. Outer needle hub has guide part engaged with elastic member or holder and guides rotation direction of elastic member around axis to certain direction.

  • Publication number: 20070159068
Abstract: Disclosed is an organic electroluminescent display panel which may be of passive-matrix type or active matrix type. When the organic electroluminescent display panel is of passive-matrix type, an organic functional layer is held between a first electrode line and a second electrode line. The organic functional layer contains a material with electroluminescent characteristics, and is arranged in a light-emitting region of the first electrode line. The light-emitting region is defined by an insulation layer having a window, and the insulation layer includes a gas barrier layer covering the peripheral portion of the windows. A partition wall and the organic functional layer may be sealed with a protection layer composed of an inorganic material. The partition wall may be formed in a region of the insulation layer where the window is not provided.

  • Publication number: 20040000863
Abstract: An electroluminescence display device includes a planar plate having a characteristic of restricting outdoor light reflection, and one or more electroluminescence elements on the planar plate. The characteristic of restricting outdoor light reflection includes at least one of polarization, anti-reflection, anti-glare and shading. Since the planar plate reduces the outdoor light reflection, it is possible to prevent contrast deterioration of a displayed image.

  • Publication number: 20030211233
Abstract: An electrode-equipped substrate includes a substrate portion of synthetic resin and a transparent electrode. The electrode-equipped substrate is subjected to heat treatment at a temperature of 200° C. or less as well as plasma treatment before organic layers are deposited. The plasma treatment is carried out within atmosphere of (A) a mixed gas of oxygen and any one of nitrogen, argon, helium, neon and xenon, with an oxygen density of 5% or less; (B) a mixed gas of oxygen and any one of carbon tetrafluoride, hexafluoroethane, octafluoropropane and octafluorocyclobutane; or (C) a sole gas of nitrogen, argon, helium, neon, xenon, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen monoxide or nitrous oxide.
