  • Patent number: 10242479
Abstract: An information processing device, method and computer program product provide mechanisms for making a moving photograph. The information processing apparatus includes a moving area detector configured to detect a moving area in images of a processing target image group. The processing target image group includes a base image and a plurality of reference images. A display controller causes the base image to be displayed along with each of the plurality of reference images in succession.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 25, 2013
Date of Patent: March 26, 2019
    Assignee: Sony Corporation

  • Patent number: 8582655
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: a modeling unit, in video image data composed of frame images having an X direction and a Y direction perpendicular to the X direction, separating a motion from a standard image, which is one frame before a reference image subjected to a process, until the reference image into motions in the X and Y directions and representing the motions in the X and Y directions respectively as vector fields composed of a translation component composed of identical magnitude and direction regardless of positions in the X and Y directions, an X dependent component primarily changing with the position in the X direction, and a Y dependent component primarily changing with the position in the Y direction; and a calculation unit respectively calculating the translation component and the X and Y dependent components corresponding to the X and Y directions represented by the modeling unit.

  • Publication number: 20090323814
Abstract: A tracking-point detection apparatus includes a background motion vector detection unit, a background image generation unit, a gate setting unit, a tracking-point motion detection unit, and a tracking-point determination unit. The background motion vector detection unit is configured to detect motion vectors for pixels in a frame included in a moving image and to detect, in accordance with the detected motion vectors, a background motion vector representing the motion of a background image of the moving image. The background image generation unit is configured to calculate and update a pixel value of a pixel in a background frame, which is a frame of a background image, stored in a memory by performing motion compensation on a pixel in the frame in accordance with the detected background motion vector. The gate setting unit is configured to set a gate in accordance with data of the background frame stored in the memory.
