  • Publication number: 20240110813
Abstract: A position detection device detects a position of a rotating body that is provided around a predetermined axis center with respect to a fixed body. A target is fixed to the rotating body. An inductive coil is fixed to the fixed body at a position facing the target in an axial center direction. The transmitting and receiving circuit applies an alternating current to the inductive coil and detects a position of the target. A magnetic circuit section is formed around the axis center and is fixed to the rotating body. A magnetic detection section is fixed to the fixed body and provided in region on a radially inner side than an inner circumferential surface of the magnetic circuit section. The target, the inductive coil, and the receiving and transmitting circuit constitute an inductive sensor, and the magnetic circuit section and the magnetic detection section constitute a magnet-type rotation angle sensor.

  • Patent number: 11385042
Abstract: A position detection device includes a magnetic detection element, a wiring, a first component and a second component as a first mold resin, a terminal, and a sensor cover as a second mold resin. The magnetic detection element can detect a change in magnetic field. The wiring is connected to the magnetic detection element. The first component and the second component mold the magnetic detection element and the wiring so that the wiring is exposed. The terminal is connected to the wiring. The sensor cover molds the first component, the second component and the terminal so that the first component and the second component where the magnetic detection element is located are exposed, and has a deformation suppressing portion. The deformation suppressing portion suppresses the deformation of the first component or the second component when the sensor cover is deformed.

  • Patent number: 9470554
Abstract: A position detector includes a Hall element that detects a magnetic flux density and a temperature detection element that detects the temperature of the Hall element. In a rotation angle calculation process, a temperature correction value a is calculated by substituting a detection temperature t of the temperature detection element and a reference maximum voltage V0 at a reference temperature t0 for a=V0×k (t?t0). Next, a correction maximum voltage Vt is calculated by substituting the temperature correction value a for a temperature characteristic formula of Vt=V0+a. Further, a rotation angle ? of a magnet relative to the Hall element is calculated by substituting an output voltage VH of the Hall element and the correction maximum voltage Vt for ?=sin?1 (VH/Vt). Since the correction maximum voltage Vt is corrected according to the temperature, the rotation angle is accurately detected.

  • Patent number: 9322670
Abstract: A magnetism sensing element is provided to be rotatable relative to permanent magnets and outputs a magnetic force detection value, which corresponds to a perpendicular component of magnetic flux. A Hall IC calculates and outputs an output voltage, which corresponds to a relative rotational angle between the permanent magnets and the magnetism sensing element, based on the magnetic force detection value outputted by the magnetism sensing element. The Hall IC calculates the output voltage as V2=k×arcsin(V1/(VM+?))+Voffset, in which V1, V2, VM, k, ? and Voffset indicate the magnetic force detection value, the output voltage, a maximum value of the magnetic force detection value, a gain, a predetermined value and a predetermined offset value.

  • Patent number: 9127966
Abstract: A physical quantity detection apparatus includes a signal output section, a correction value calculation section, and a processing section. The signal output section outputs signals in accordance with a change in physical quantity of a detected object. The correction value calculation section calculates a correction value. The processing section corrects values based on actual output values of the signal output section with the correction value, calculates physical quantities of the detected object based on corrected values, and outputs calculated physical quantities. The correction value calculation section calculates the correction value based on primary error amounts that are differences between post-interpolation actual output values calculated by executing a linear function interpolation process to the values based on the actual output values within a predetermined physical quantity range and the values based on the actual output values corresponding to the post-interpolation actual output values.

  • Patent number: 9129067
Abstract: In a position detector for detecting a position of a detection body, a signal processing circuit processes a signal outputted from a magnetic field detection element. A first storage circuit stores the signal outputted from the magnetic field detection element and outputs a signal to an external device through an output circuit in a normal operation mode. A second storage circuit stores an output value of the first storage circuit. When a malfunction determination circuit determines an instantaneous power interruption mode, a signal route changing circuit prevents a signal transmission between the first storage circuit and the second storage circuit and a signal transmission between the first storage circuit and the output circuit, prevents the second storage circuit from updating data for a certain period of time, and permits the second storage circuit in which updating is prevented to output a signal to the output circuit.

  • Patent number: 9086304
Abstract: A terminal-supporting apparatus includes a resin part made of non-conductive resin material and a plurality of conductive terminals including parallel terminal portions which are directly supported by the resin part. The parallel terminal portions are electrically connected to each other through an electric element. The resin part supporting the parallel terminal portions is made of non-conductive resin material mixed with non-conductive reinforced fibers of which thermal expansion coefficient is smaller than that of the non-conductive resin material. An extending direction of the parallel terminal portion is referred to as a longitudinal direction and a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is referred to as a perpendicular direction. The non-conductive reinforced fibers have a fiber direction which is substantially the same as the perpendicular direction.
