Abstract: A telephone set has a receiver for transducing a reception signal into a voice, a microphone for transducing a voice into a transmission signal and a comparing device. The comparing device compares the reception signal and the transmission signal, and a predetermined frequency pass band is in turn alternated according to a period of a first clock input to pass the reception signal and the transmission signal. The comparing device outputs a frequency pass band where the reception signal and transmission signal have a substantially equal and maximum level and a comparison result signal when the reception signal and transmission signal have the substantially equal level.

Abstract: According to the present invention, an IC card terminal apparatus includes an IC card, an interface unit, a reading unit, a display control unit, and a display unit. Language identification information indicating a type of a language is stored in the IC card. The interface unit interfaces with the IC card. The reading unit reads out the language identification information from the IC card through the interface unit when the IC card is connected to the interface unit. The display control unit controls display of a message expressed in a language indicated by the language identification information read out by the reading unit. The display unit displays a message in a language indicated by an output from the display control unit.

Abstract: A signal generating circuit includes a counter for counting up input clock pulses to output a trigger signal when counting up to a predetermined number of pulses, a CPU for outputting a mask request of a first trigger signal, a first flip-flop for storing the mask request of the CPU, a second flip-flop for latching a normal output signal of the first flip-flop by the trigger signal of the counter, and an AND circuit for calculating a logical sum of a mask request signal output from the second flip-flop and the trigger signal output from the counter. Thus, the trigger signal generating circuit masks the first trigger signal output from the counter and prevents the output of a superfluous trigger signal when a timing of a trigger signal generation is delayed.

Abstract: A mobile terminal equipment automatically displaying the local time in any desired geographical area for use in mobile telephone systems and the like. One example of this mobile terminal equipment is a mobile telephone set capable of displaying the local time wherever it is used by calculating the time difference from the home town on the basis of location registration area information supplied from the base station. Another example of this mobile terminal equipment is an IC card-inserting type mobile telephone set capable of displaying the home town time by calculating the time difference between the home town and its area of use on the basis of home town information stored in the IC card.
