  • Patent number: 4096575
Abstract: A delay time compensation circuit includes a pair of first and second sensing devices having different time constant values. The outputs from the sensing devices are each differentiated and at the same time compared to provide a difference signal. Both differentiated and difference signals are processed into an output which represents a value to compensate for errors resulting from the first-order time lag of the sensing devices. The compensating output is added to the output from the first sensing device.

  • Patent number: 4077204
Abstract: In an acceleration control of a gas turbine engine having a feedback system in which the fuel flow is controlled by comparison of a selected engine speed and an actual engine speed, when the difference between the speeds exceeds a predetermined level the control is performed from the selected speed signal to a temperature limit signal and the fuel flow is controlled so that the actual engine temperature does not exceed the limit.

  • Patent number: 4015425
Abstract: A calculator is interposed between a sequence controller and a fuel regulator in order that the fuel regulator injects an optimum quantity of fuel into a combustion chamber in dependence on the temperature of the engine at start, resulting in a gradual warming-up of the engine under all temperature conditions.

  • Patent number: 4006590
Abstract: A control circuit for controlling output speed of a gas turbine engine through comparison between a signal representative of an actually detected output speed of the engine and a signal representative of a desired engine output speed, wherein the rate of increase of the latter signal is limited in accordance with a predetermined schedule depending upon a detected temperature of the engine and a predetermined engine temperature which varies with a preselected operating condition such as the detected output speed of the engine. The control circuit is characterized in that the same is at all times maintained as a closed-loop system although switching means is provided in the circuit.

  • Patent number: 3962863
Abstract: Fuel supply control means is operatively connected to an electromagnetic flow control valve applying thereto a fuel control signal for controlling fuel flow supplied through the electromagnetic flow control valve to the combustion chamber of a gas turbine engine. The control signal increases gradually or exponentially from a low value such as corresponds to fuel flow required at engine hot start to a high value corresponds to fuel flow required at engine cold start.
