Abstract: In a wireless transmission control method for controlling wireless communication access among a plurality of communication stations via wireless transmission of a control signal from a central control station to a terminal station, a communication station selected as the central control station judges a station with which each terminal station in a wireless network is capable of directly making communication. When it is detected that each terminal station is capable of directly making communication with a communication station having many more stations than those directly making wireless communication with the central control station, processing for changing the detected terminal station to the central control station is performed. Thus, when the control station is set and the access management of wireless communication is carried out under the control of the control station, the control station can be selected easily and satisfactorily.

Abstract: A method for allowing a communication station to newly join an existing radio network constituted of plural units of communication stations includes a radio transmission a method for carrying out radio transmission in a radio network formed of plural communication stations by a control signal from a communication station set up as a central control station, including the steps of: specifying a frame cycle of a radio transmission signal by a control of the centrat control station; setting a predetermined position in the specified frame cycle as a slot for newly joining the radio network; and if a predetermined signal is transmitted through the slot, carrying out a processing for allowing a transmission source of the signal to join the radio network.

Abstract: Within a frame period there are defined a managing data transmission area and a data transfer area. Within the managing data transmission area there is made a transmission of data for determining a state of polling control and within the data transfer area there is performed the communication among a plurality of the communicating stations through the polling control based on the data transmitted within the managing data transmission area. As a result of this, in a case where access management of the communication is performed by polling, the transmission efficiency within the network is enhanced.

Abstract: A frame period is specified by means of a predetermined signal; a management data transmission region is set in this frame period; and when common information to be transmitted from the control station in the management data transmission region is received at a plurality of communication stations, any of these communication stations performs processing for repeatedly transmitting the received common information, whereby when communications in a network system are controlled by a control station, a station incapable of directly making communication with a control station can be controlled satisfactorily.
