  • Patent number: 8769978
Abstract: In a dehumidification/humidification device, a blower and an adsorbent module are contained in a casing. In other embodiment, the blower, the adsorbent module, and a flow passage-changing device are contained in the casing. The adsorbent module includes an adsorbing element formed by carrying an adsorbent on a permeable element and a heater directly disposed on the adsorbing element. The state of the electrification of the heater is changed and an air-blowing direction or a flow passage is changed, whereby a dehumidified air is discharged from a first suction/discharge port (or discharge port), and a humidified air is discharged from a second suction/discharge port (or discharge port).

  • Patent number: 8327652
Abstract: To provide a more comfortable vehicle cabin space for a passenger. In a vehicle humidifying/dehumidifying device 10, when a control unit 26 is switched to an “intermittent operation mode”, a pair of heat exchange elements 28A and 28B are heated simultaneously and intermittently. Additionally, this allows humidified air to be generated by both of the pair of heat exchange elements 28A and 28B when the pair of heat exchange elements 28A and 28B are being heated simultaneously by a heater 30. Consequently, in comparison to a case where the humidified air is generated alternately by the heat exchange elements 28A and 28B, the humidifying amount imparted to the humidified air when the humidified air is generated by a humidifying/dehumidifying unit 16 can be increased. Thus, it becomes possible to perform humidifying amount control corresponding to various situations in a vehicle cabin, and it becomes possible to provide a more comfortable vehicle cabin space for a passenger.

  • Patent number: 8162099
Abstract: A vehicle interior structure that may realize a more amenable vehicle interior space by making communication between occupants sitting on a pair of vehicle seats easier. The vehicle interior structure includes: a pair of vehicle seats; and a sound-reflecting communication unit for conveying a sound produced from occupants sitting, respectively, on the pair of vehicle seats to the other occupant, while reflecting and converging the sound. The sound-reflecting communication unit forms a concave shape along a virtual ellipse, focuses of which are respectively at positions of heads of the occupants.

  • Publication number: 20100230503
Abstract: A humidity control device (10) provided on a vehicle has a humidifier (12) capable of humidifying the vehicle interior and also has a control unit for controlling operation of the humidifier (12) so that the humidity in the interior is maintained at a predetermined target value. In the humidity control device (10), operating each operation switch of an operation panel (14) causes the humidifier (12) to be controlled so as to achieve an aimed item predetermined corresponding to the operation switch, and as a result, the humidity in the vehicle interior (32) is maintained within an optimum range which an occupant (P) in the interior feels comfortable. Also, moisture (St) is locally jetted from the humidifier (12) to the head (entire face, more specifically) of the occupant (P). By doing so, the moisture (St) is prevented from dispersing in the vehicle interior (32).

  • Publication number: 20100107656
Abstract: A dehumidifier/humidifier for vehicle comprising a casing as air flow channel and, accommodated therein in sequence, first air blower (2a), first flow channel switching unit (4a), adsorbent module (3), second flow channel switching unit (4b) and second air blower (2b). The adsorbent module (3) is built by directly disposing first adsorbent element (31) and second adsorbent element (32) on plate surfaces of Peltier element (30), respectively. By reversing the electric current flowing through the Peltier element (30) and switching the flow channel by means of the first flow channel switching unit (4a) and the second flow channel switching unit (4b), dehumidified (or humidified) air is continuously blown out from first blowout hole (11) and humidified (or dehumidified) air is continuously blown out from second blowout hole (12).

  • Publication number: 20050269919
Abstract: A drawer device includes a case, and a drawer member housed in the case and capable of withdrawing from and retracting into an opening of the case. A rotating member is disposed within the case for converting linear displacement into rotation, and a pressing device presses the rotating member in a direction of the linear displacement toward a withdrawing direction of the drawer member. An abutting section is disposed at the drawer member for abutting against the rotating member for converting rotation of the rotating member into displacement of the drawer member in the withdrawing or retracting direction. A latching device latches the drawer member to the case when the drawer member is housed within the case and unlatches when the drawer member is pressed.
