The movie recommendation system compares the number of the operation logs held in the log holding unit and a predetermined value, calculates the recommendation movies by the simple recommendation calculation unit in a case where it is determined that a small number of operation logs are held in the log holding unit, and calculates the recommendation movies by the extended recommendation calculation unit in a case where it is determined that a large number of operation logs are held in the log holding unit.
