  • Patent number: 5398847
Abstract: In a fluid container comprising a container main body, a first piston member which defines a fluid containing chamber of a variable internal volume in cooperation with associated walls of the container main body, and a content expelling tube for conducting the content of the fluid container to a content outlet, a second piston member is placed inside the content expelling tube so that the second piston member may be moved inside the content expelling tube to take out the content from the content outlet when the first piston member has reached its stroke end and the content inside the fluid containing chamber has been all taken out. Thus, the content expelling tube may be conveniently employed for guiding the movement of the first piston member without reducing the inner capacity of the fluid container.

  • Patent number: 5375516
Abstract: To provide a stencil printing device of a multi printing drum type which can be reduced in size without complicating the path of conveying printing paper and without compromising the ease of maintenance, a plurality of printing drums are arranged along an inclined line of a prescribed angle of inclination, and the path of conveying printing paper between each pair of adjacent printing drums is defined, for instance, as a straight line. A plate making unit, a plate ejection unit and a paper feeding unit are arranged in the space defined above and below the inclined line along which the printing drums are arranged so that a compact design may be accomplished.

  • Patent number: 5354001
Abstract: A device for disposing paper and other information carrying media which reads information printed on each sheet of paper, and stores the read information, shreds the paper sheet from which the information has been read. Thus, the paper may be shredded or otherwise destroyed, but the information carried thereby may be retained in an electronic storage device, and reproduced if desired. Since each sheet of paper may carry information not only on one side thereof but may carry on two sides thereof, it is preferred that the device comprises two reading units so that one of them may read information from one side of the paper while the other reading unit reads information from the other side of the paper.

  • Patent number: 5188301
Abstract: In the disposal device for paper documents according to the present invention, the feeding of paper that is to be disposed can be done either automatically with a feeding unit or manually from a manual inlet. Therefore, the disposal of sensitive paper documents can be carried out sheet by sheet by placing the paper on the automatic paper feed unit while paper documents which do not require any security measures may be manually fed into the disposal device for an immediate shredding process. Therefore, the present invention allows both appropriate and efficient disposal of paper documents without regard to whether the paper documents to be disposed require security measures or not.
