  • Patent number: 8663163
Abstract: A needle tip of a needle tube stuck in the skin is caused to be reliably positioned in the skin upper layer part and the injected drug is caused not to leak to the outside of the body. An injection needle is provided with a needle tube having a needle tip, a hub that holds the needle tube and an adjustment unit provided around the needle tube and having a needle-protruding surface through which the needle tip of the needle tube protrudes. The needle-protruding surface of the adjustment unit is formed such that the distance S from the circumferential edge to the circumferential surface of the needle tube is in the range of 0.3-1.4 mm.

  • Publication number: 20130152982
Abstract: A medical device cleaning device includes a washing tank, and an electrical discharge generator. An endoscope to be cleaned is housed in the washing tank, and immersed in wash water. An electrical discharge unit of the electrical discharge generator is placed in the washing tank, and immersed in the wash water. A direct-current power supply is connected to a pair of electrodes of the electrical discharge unit. When the direct-current power supply applies a voltage to the pair of electrodes, streamer discharge is performed between the pair of electrodes to produce hydrogen peroxide. The endoscope is sterilized in the washing tank by using the hydrogen peroxide produced by the streamer discharge.

  • Publication number: 20110166520
Abstract: A needle tip of a needle tube stuck in the skin is caused to be reliably positioned in the skin upper layer part and the injected drug is caused not to leak to the outside of the body. An injection needle 1 is provided with a needle tube 2 of 26-33 G having a needle tip, a hub 3 that holds the needle tube 2, and an adjustment unit 4 provided around the needle tube 2 and having a needle-protruding surface 4b through which the needle tip of the needle tube 2 protrudes. And, the needle-protruding surface 4b of the adjustment unit 4 is formed such that the distance S from the circumferential edge to the circumferential surface of the needle tube 2 is in the range of 0.3-1.4 mm.

  • Patent number: 4869904
Abstract: Now is provided a new sustained release drug preparation comprising such an inclusion complex of a medical compound with a hydrophobic cyclodextrin derivative, e.g. ethylated cyclodextrins, which sustains or retards the dissolution and release of the medical compound at a controlled rate from the inclusion complex and hence from the drug preparation containing the inclusion complex, so as to maintain the concentration of the medical compound in blood at an effective level for prolonged time. This drug preparation may further contain a second type of an inclusion complex of the medical compound with a hydrophilic cyclodextrin or hydrophilic cyclodextrin derivative, in mixture with the first type of the inclusion complex of the medical compound with a hydrophobic cyclodextrin derivative, to maintain the controlled release of the medical compound from the drug.
