    Abstract: A similar polygon, which is larger than a basic polygon and has a similar shape to the basic polygon, is disposed to face the obverse surface of the basic polygon. A different texture from that of the basic polygon is pasted on the similar polygon. Then, a polygon image including the basic polygon and the similar polygon is displayed. When the polygon image is viewed from a certain viewpoint, the similar polygon is seen behind the basic polygon in a ring-like form, which serves as an edge of the basic polygon. As a result, a three-dimensional image using polygons can be provided with an edge.
