  • Patent number: 8209907
Abstract: A window regulator includes a wire sag compensating mechanism. The wire sag compensating mechanism includes an outer tube arranged between the vicinity of a drum and at least one wire guide member allowing passage of a wire therethrough and fixed at an end on the side of the wire guide member to a member where the wire guide member may be provided. A tube holding portion may be provided on a member on which the drum is provided allowing movable engagement of the drum side of the outer tube and guiding the drum side of the outer tube in the axial direction of the outer tube. A spring may be provided for urging the drum side of the outer tube away from the drum. A disengagement restricting arrangement (e.g., projections and elongated holes) may be provided for restricting the outer tube from disengaging from the tube holding portion.

  • Patent number: 8127496
Abstract: In a window regulator 10, when a pin bolt 42 provisionally attached to a pulley 22 and a pulley support 54 is fastened to a door panel 14 by a nut 52, the pulley 22 and the pulley support 54 are supported on the pin bolt 42 and attached to a predetermined position on the door panel 14. Here, in the above-described provisionally attached state, the pin bolt 42 is held in the pulley 22 by pin member holding claws 74 of the pulley 22, and the pulley 22 is held in the pulley support 54 by pulley holding claws 68 of the pulley support 54. Consequently, when the pin bolt 42 is to be fastened to a body panel, the pulley 22, the pulley support 54, and the pin bolt 42 can be handled as a single part. Thus, the work of attaching a pulley and a pulley support to a body panel of a vehicle can be facilitated.

  • Publication number: 20090090065
Abstract: [Problem] To provide a window regulator including a wire sag compensating mechanism which prevents an outer tube from being disengaged from guide means. [Means for Resolution] A wire sag compensating mechanism including an outer tube 201 arranged between the vicinity of a drum 65 and the vicinity of a wire guide member for allowing passage of a wire 71 therethrough and fixed at the end on the side of the wire guiding member to a member where the wire guide member is provided; tube holding portion 207 provided on a member on which the drum 65 is provided for allowing movable engagement of the drum 65 side of the outer tube 201 and guiding the drum 65 side of the outer tube 201 in the axial direction of the outer tube 201; a spring 209 for urging the drum 65 side of the outer tube 201 in the direction away from the drum 65; and a disengagement restricting means (projections 213, elongated holes 211) for restricting the outer tube 201 from being disengaged from the tube holding portion 207 is provided.
