Patent number: 10610947Abstract: A power supply system includes multiple power supply devices connected in common to a load. A first power supply device calculates control information for controlling voltage or current to be output to the load and controls the output to the load based on the calculated control information while transmitting the control information to a second power supply device. The second power supply device receives the control information transmitted from the first power supply device and control the output to the load based on the received control information while detecting current to be output from its own device to the load and transmitting current information to the first power supply device. The first power supply device receives the current information transmitted from the second power supply device and calculate control information based on the received current information and the current and voltage detected by its own device.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 2016Date of Patent: April 7, 2020Assignee: DAIHEN CorporationInventors: Hirokazu Kawai, Songjie Hou, Hideo Shiozaki, Haruhiko Manabe, Satoru Hata, Hiroyasu Mondori, Futoshi Nishisaka, Takanori Onishi

Patent number: 4625702Abstract: The engine load signal, the engine speed signal, and the engine warm-up signal are directed to an electric control unit. The electric control unit issues an output signal depending on the engine condition; in the stage of engine warm-up, the output signal is issued from the first EGR MAP which does not permit EGR under idling of the engine and after full warm-up, it is issued from the second EGR MAP which permits EGR even under idling. Upon receiving the output signal, the electric vacuum regulating valve acts to adjust the opening degree of the EGR valve, thereby preventing the erosion and wear of the cylinder bore and the piston ring and reducing the generation of NOx.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 1985Date of Patent: December 2, 1986Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Takanori Onishi

Patent number: 4376369Abstract: An internal combustion engine has an exhaust manifold, an inlet manifold, and a carburetor which has a fuel jet. An oxygen sensor is mounted within the exhaust manifold, and produces an output signal according to the oxygen present within the exhaust gases. A computing means computes a corrective signal according to the oxygen sensor output signal. This corrective signal is fed as an input signal both to a means for supplying secondary air into the exhaust manifold, and also to a means for supplying bleed air to the jet of the carburetor. In a particular embodiment, a secondary air signal cutoff device selectively intercepts supply of the corrective signal to the secondary air supply means, and an air bleed signal cutoff device selectively intercepts the supply of the corrective signal to the air bleed supply means. These cutoff devices may be controlled according to vehicle road speed, engine temperature, engine rotational speed, inlet manifold vacuum, and the temperature of a catalytic converter.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 1980Date of Patent: March 15, 1983Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Masafumi Horikoshi, Michikatsu Sato, Takanori Onishi

Patent number: 4031869Abstract: This discloses an ignition-timing adjusting system for internal combustion engines, which realizes an advance of the ignition-timing relating to the temperature of an engine. This system comprises vacuum advance means responsive to a vacuum produced by the vacuum in the intake tube of the engine for advancing the ignition timing of the engine, and means for controlling the level of said vacuum produced by said intake-tube vacuum with relation to the temperature of the engine. When the engine is cold, the ignition-timing is advanced under control of said vacuum-level controlling means to the proper position for operation of the cold engine.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 1975Date of Patent: June 28, 1977Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takanori Onishi, Ken Shiozawa
