  • Publication number: 20090156136
Abstract: A controller 20 transmits a unique ID to a console main unit 10 when starting communication with said console main unit 10. The console main unit 10 determines whether the received unique ID has already been registered in a wired controller No. registration table, and when it has already been registered, sets already registered correspondence for corresponding a virtual controller No., a wired controller No., and the unique ID. Otherwise, if it is not yet registered, a wired controller No. and the unique ID are corresponded, and new registration and correspondence setting for corresponding them to a virtual controller No. is conducted. The virtual controller No. corresponded to the unique ID is associated to predetermined information processing if the already registered correspondence setting or new registration and correspondence setting is completed.

  • Publication number: 20080279399
Abstract: The speaker apparatus according to the invention is arranged in a manner that when the magnitude of an audio signal Sin increases temporarily and so a consumption power increases, a DC-DC converter reduces an output voltage Vout to thereby increase an output current Iout and further discharges a capacitor to thereby increase a current supplied to an amplifier. Thus, a power of 2.5 W or more supplied from a USB connection terminal can be temporarily supplied to the amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20080114912
Abstract: This invention suppresses increase in power consumption and reduces the time it takes until a controller is usable when starting the operation of console main unit from the standby state by the controller through BT communication. When a console main unit 10 is started up from the standby state by a controller through BT communication, a main CPU 64 of the console main unit 10 reads in and runs a controller connection managing program after the BT driver is read-in and run. Upon reception of a logical layer connection request signal from the controller, the main CPU 64 stores that logical layer connection request signal in main memory 65, reads in and runs the controller connection managing program, reads in terminal identification information from the main memory 65, establishes a logical layer connection through BT communication, and makes a communication module 79 transmit a logical layer connection enable signal.

  • Publication number: 20070287542
Abstract: A technology of realizing wireless communication between a parent station and child stations with efficiency. In a game system according to the present invention, a game apparatus sets the maximum number of times of transmission for wireless game controllers, in accordance with the number of wireless game controllers that are communicating at a predetermined communication cycle. Here, time for establishing connection with a new wireless game controller is reserved within each communication cycle, thereby allowing new users to join the game. The maximum number of times of transmission is re-set when the number of wireless game controllers connected changes.

  • Patent number: 7191024
Abstract: When a user gives a parameter storage instruction via a remote controller, current settings of parameters in an input switching circuit, surround circuit, graphic equalizer and electronic volume are stored into a non-volatile RAM. Then, once the user gives a reproduction instruction via the remote controller, the stored settings of the parameters are read out from the non-volatile RAM and set to the input switching circuit, surround circuit, graphic equalizer and electronic volume. Once the user selects a desired one of customizing buttons that are provided on the remote controller belonging to an audio apparatus connected with a personal computer and selects functions to be allocated to the selected customizing button, the personal computer creates setting information in accordance with the user's selections, and transmits the thus-created setting information to the audio apparatus. In turn, the audio apparatus stores the allocated functions of the customizing button on the basis of the setting information.
