    Abstract: An ignition coil includes a center core, a secondary coil, a primary coil, and an outer core. The secondary coil and the primary coil are substantially coaxially arranged on the outer circumferential side of the center core. The secondary coil includes a secondary winding that is wound around a secondary spool. The secondary spool has a high voltage bracket that includes a secondary terminal. The primary coil includes a primary winding that is wound around a primary spool. The outer core is arranged on the outer circumferential side in the ignition coil. The secondary terminal includes a first connecting portion, which is in a bulb shape, in the tip end. The first connecting portion connects with an end portion of the secondary winding. The first connecting portion is covered with an electrically insulative resin.
