  • Publication number: 20230384464
Abstract: An apparatus includes a plurality of pixels each including a conversion element, and a shielding layer covering the conversion element, wherein the shielding layer is provided to cover at least a part of an aperture of the conversion element so that an aperture modulated transfer function (MTF) at a predetermined frequency of a signal obtained from the conversion element becomes less than or equal to a predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20230236138
Abstract: A radiation imaging apparatus includes an attenuation member for reducing reflection of components arranged on a backside of the radiation imaging apparatus generated by back scattered radiation that has reflected on a structure on the backside of the radiation imaging apparatus, the attenuation member being provided on the backside of the radiation incident plane of the radiation detection unit, wherein the attenuation member is made of a material with a higher atomic number and a material with a lower atomic number than a material with a highest atomic number among materials of the component, covers an end portion of an outer shape of the component overlapping the radiation detection unit in orthogonal projection onto the second plane, and is smaller in area than the radiation detection unit.

  • Publication number: 20230061406
Abstract: A radiation imaging apparatus includes an attenuation member on the back surface side opposite the radiation incident surface of a radiation detection unit. The attenuation member is configured to reduce unexpected appearance of a part disposed on the back surface side of the radiation imaging apparatus, the unexpected appearance of which occurs due to backscattered radiation reflected by the structured part on the back surface side of the radiation imaging apparatus. The attenuation member includes a material having a radiation transmittance higher than that of the part and covers the end portion of the outline of the part that overlaps the radiation detection unit in orthogonal projection onto the surface opposite the incident surface of the radiation detection unit, and the area of the attenuation member is smaller than that of the radiation detection unit.

  • Publication number: 20220401054
Abstract: A radiation imaging system comprises a sensor unit of a radiation imaging device, detecting an incident radiation R irradiated from a radiation generator; an arithmetic unit calculating an accumulated dose of the radiation detected by the sensor unit; and an imaging control unit outputting an irradiation stop signal for stopping the irradiation of the radiation R to the radiation generator when the accumulated dose reaches a threshold or more, wherein the imaging control unit sets the threshold based on a dose rate of the radiation R determined based on a relationship between the accumulated dose and a time, and a delay time from a time of outputting the irradiation stop signal to a time of stopping the irradiation of the radiation of the radiation generator.
