  • Publication number: 20150130296
Abstract: The present technique relates to a power supply device and method as well as a program which can surely perform a billing process when a device is charged. When a vehicle ID registered in advance in an external storage matches a vehicle ID acquired by a reader/writer, a control unit makes a request to input, by operating a display unit formed of a touch panel, information which determines the amount of electric power to be charged. Once the information determining the amount of electric power to be charged has been input, the control unit controls a billing part to calculate the amount of electric power, so that a billing server performs a billing process on the amount of money corresponding to the amount of electric power. The control unit then controls a communication unit and turns on a selector switch.

  • Publication number: 20140088784
Abstract: The present technique relates to a power supply device and method as well as a program which allow a billing process to be surely performed in charging a vehicle. When a vehicle ID registered in advance in an external storage matches a vehicle ID acquired by a reader/writer, a control unit controls a lock control part to fit a lock of an outlet into a hole in a projection of a plug and lock the connection between the outlet and the plug. The control unit in this state turns on a selector switch to charge a battery of an electric vehicle from a charger. Once charging has been completed, the control unit controls a billing part to calculate the amount of electric power so that a billing server performs a billing process for the amount of money corresponding to the amount of electric power.

  • Publication number: 20140074308
Abstract: A control unit controls a reader/writer to generate a vehicle ID read signal that is formed of a high frequency signal and used to read a vehicle ID recorded in an ID circuit, and supply the signal to a high-pass filter. The read signal or a write signal formed of the high frequency signal is superimposed on a power supply line and supplied to the high-pass filter. The high-pass filter supplies the vehicle ID read signal formed of the high frequency signal to the ID circuit. On the basis of the read signal, the ID circuit reads the vehicle ID stored in an IC built in the own circuit and transmits it as a response signal to a charger along a reverse path. An authentication part of the control unit turns on a selector switch when the vehicle ID being the response signal is determined to be legitimate.
