  • Publication number: 20150361938
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a fuel injection valve that applies a swirl to an upstream side of a seat section to shorten spray penetration. When flows into injection hole entries are indicated by arrows 101a to 106a and injection hole exit directions are indicated by arrows 201 to 206, an angle ? defined by the inflow direction 101a and the exit direction 201 of an injection hole 71 can be increased. Ina method for applying the twisted angle ?, a side groove 15a on an outer peripheral side of a guide member 12a is set to be accompanied with a twist with respect to an axis O1. Furthermore, a flow passage area of the side groove 15a is set smaller than a flow passage area on an upstream side of the guide member 12a and is also set larger than a flow passage area of a seat section 7B that is constructed by a gap between a valve body 7 and an orifice cup 7.

  • Patent number: 8447498
Abstract: Even when an engine is started in various combustion states, an excessive increase in engine speed at the start of the engine is suppressed without an influence of the combustion states and with an excellent responsiveness. Ignition timing (or a combustion injection amount) at the start of an internal combustion engine is corrected in accordance with a crank angle cycle ratio which is a ratio of a combustion period crank angle cycle and a reference crank angle cycle.

  • Publication number: 20130075501
Abstract: Improving the injection fuel mass accuracy of fuel injector, it is necessary to make the fuel injector perform seat valve opening and closing operation quickly. When the shapes of a fixed core and an anchor are optimized to improve the responsiveness of a magnetic flux, it is necessary to ensure a sufficient fuel path area while preventing adhesion by making the adherence phenomenon rarely occur between an end face of the anchor and an end face of the fixed core. A through hole passes through an anchor forming an armature of an electromagnetic fuel injector from a face of the anchor where the anchor faces a fixed core to a back face where the through hole has a large-diameter portion and a small-diameter portion, and the large-diameter portion is located in an upstream part and is offset to the outer periphery with respect to the small-diameter portion.

  • Publication number: 20130000599
Abstract: Provided is a control device of a direct injection engine, the control device that can prevent the amount of emission of soot from increasing and the exhaust performance from worsening when a restart request is made before an engine is stopped after an idle stop condition is satisfied. When a restart request is made before an engine is stopped after an idle stop condition is satisfied, at least one of the number of fuel injections in one combustion cycle and the air/fuel ratio of an air fuel mixture used for combustion is changed for each cylinder according to a piston position at that time.

  • Publication number: 20120227709
Abstract: In a fuel injection device, a driving unit structure has a magnetic aperture, in which an inner diameter is gradually enlarged toward the mover side, provided in an inner peripheral surface of the magnetic core. It is possible to reduce magnetic delay time upon valve opening from the supply of the electric current to the coil to the rise of magnetic flux and magnetic delay time upon valve closing from the stoppage of the electric current to the coil to reduction of magnetic flux, by providing a magnetic aperture in the inner peripheral surface of the magnetic core. Thus it is possible to improve the dynamic responsiveness upon valve opening and valve closing.

  • Patent number: 8240290
Abstract: In a control apparatus for an internal combustion engine, when a fuel pressure detected by the fuel pressure detecting unit is not smaller than a threshold P_a, the value opening time duration of a injector is increased to a value larger than its normal value, such control as to stop fuel injection from the injector is inhibited, the low pressure fuel pump is stopped, thus quickly lowering the fuel pressure. After the fuel pressure is lowered, the valve opening time duration of the injector is returned to the normal value, and a discharge quantity of the low pressure fuel pump is changed on the basis of a difference between the fuel pressure detected by the fuel pressure detecting unit and a target fuel pressure.

  • Publication number: 20100263632
Abstract: Even when a current waveform and a current value of a current which is supplied to an injector is changed in order to extend a dynamic range of the injector, fuel injection quantity precision is maintained and enhanced. A correction time for correcting an opening/closing delay of the aforementioned injector is variably set by a valve response delay time calculating unit 103 and a selector unit 106 in accordance with change of setting of the current waveform and the current value.

  • Patent number: 7789073
Abstract: A fuel injection control apparatus is capable of reducing a minimum quantity of fuel injection without reducing a maximum quantity of injection. To open a fuel injector valve, a driving circuit supplies an electric current from a high-voltage power supply to the fuel injector. Then, after valve opening, the high-voltage power supply is switched to a low-voltage power supply, and an open state of the valve is retained. For opening the valve of the fuel injector, a microcomputer, after supplying current from the high-voltage power supply to the injector, discharges the current rapidly for a decrease below a first current level at which the open state of the valve cannot be retained. The microcomputer then controls the supply current to the injector so as to supply a current at a second current level at which the open state of the valve can be retained.

  • Patent number: 7778765
Abstract: A fuel injection control apparatus includes a computing unit that calculates a pulse width for a pulse signal which drives the valve of a fuel injector, based on the operational state of the internal combustion engine and fuel pressure detected by a fuel pressure sensor. After a valve-opening command has turned on and a high valve-opening current has been supplied to open the fuel injector valve, a fuel injector driving signal waveform command unit discharges the current and supplies a small hold current Ih2 to maintain the injector's valve-open state. After the elapse of a predetermined rapid-discharge starting time from the turn-on of the valve-opening command, the fuel injector driving signal waveform command unit rapidly discharges the current until the hold current Ih2 has been reached.

  • Publication number: 20090177369
Abstract: To provide a fuel injection control apparatus capable of reducing the minimum quantity of fuel injection without reducing the maximum quantity of injection. For fuel injector valve opening, a driving circuit 56 supplies an electric current from a high-voltage power supply VH to the fuel injector 53, then after valve opening, switches the high-voltage power supply VH to a low-voltage power supply LV, and retains the open state of the valve. A microcomputer 57 is adapted such that for opening the valve of the fuel injector, the microcomputer, after supplying the current from the high-voltage power supply to the injector 53, discharges the current rapidly for a decrease below a first current level Ihold1 at which the open state of the valve cannot be retained, and then controls the supply current to the injector 53 so as to supply a current of a second current level Ihold2 at which the open state of the valve can be retained.
