Abstract: A measuring apparatus has a display unit that can be favorably viewed when a measured object is clamped by a clamp-type sensor regardless of the orientation and position of the measured object. The measuring apparatus includes a first main unit on which the clamp-type sensor is disposed and a second main unit that is rotatably connected to the first main unit and on which the display unit is disposed. The second main unit is connected to the first main unit via a hinge unit capable of maintaining an arbitrary rotation position. The display unit is disposed on a surface of the second main unit that is opposite the first main unit when the measuring apparatus is folded up.

Abstract: A rotational speed indication signal generator comprises a magnetic circuit and a plurality of generating coils radially arranged with respect to the rotary shaft of a rotor. Each of the generating coils is wound around a radial projection of a circular disk made of a magnetic material so that the axis of the generating coils is normal to the rotary shaft. The generating coils are electrically connected in series in such a manner that a noise voltage induced across one coil caused by external flux has opposite poloraity to that of a noise voltage induced across another coil positioned opposite with respect to the rotary shaft. The electrical connection of the generating coils has a given circular direction while a lead wire connected to the last coil in the series connection has a circular direction opposite to the direction of the series connection.

Abstract: The coreless cylindrical armature has a cylindrical coil made of at least one coil unit which includes a plurality of lead wires. Each lead wire traverses at least twice between the peripheral edges of the coil cylinder as it makes one turn around the coil cylinder. The lead wires are regularly spaced angularly of the coil cylinder to provide a full pitch winding that is two layers thick throughout as a result of the winding, but for a respective plurality of apical regions marginally of each peripheral edge of the coil cylinder. Several ultimate dispositions of these apical regions are described.
