  • Patent number: 6837220
Abstract: A multiple cylinder engine controls an air/fuel ratio accurately by improved detection of the fluctuations in a vacuum due to a change in the openings of throttle valves. The multiple cylinder engine includes a plurality of intake passages that independently feed intake air to cylinders; fuel injectors; throttle valves; a pressure sensor; and a fuel controller that controls fuel injection of each cylinder using the detected pressure. The multiple cylinder engine may further include a vacuum inlet passage having an inlet port opened into intake passages that introduces the pressure of the intake passages into the pressure sensor. The vacuum inlet passage preferably includes a throttle portion having a passage area of no more than one ninth that of the inlet port.

  • Publication number: 20020170540
Abstract: A multiple cylinder engine controls an air/fuel ratio accurately by improved detection of the fluctuations in a vacuum due to a change in the openings of throttle valves. The multiple cylinder engine comprises: a plurality of intake passages 11a and 11b for feeding intake air to cylinders 2 and 3 independently of each other; fuel injectors 6 and 7 and throttle valves 4c provided for the intake passages; a pressure sensor C for detecting the pressure of one of the intake passages 11a and 11b; and fuel control means 20 for controlling the injection quality of the fuel injectors 6, 7 of each cylinder by using the detected pressure. The multiple cylinder engine may further comprise a vacuum inlet passage 18 having a inlet port 18a opened into intake passages 11a or 11b that introduces the pressure of the intake passages 11a or 11b into the pressure sensor C. The vacuum inlet passage 18 includes a throttle portion 18b preferably having a passage area of no more than one ninth that of the inlet port 18a.

  • Publication number: 20010029832
Abstract: With music data made up of four instrument/vocal parts of, e.g., a piano, base, drums, and vocals, project data handled by a management center is configured of tracks with each part existing independently. Tracks 1 through 4 each have independent copyright information, which is to say that even in the event that the tracks 1 through 4 are each created by different creators, copyright information is recorded to each of the tracks 1 through 4, and even in the event that a track for a new part is added to the project data for example, thereby generating different project data, the copyright information on each track is not deleted. Thus, music data made up of multiple tracks having copyright information on each track can be distributed.
