  • Patent number: 11855298
Abstract: A cell module includes a plurality of cylindrical batteries and a holder composed by arranging each of cylindrical batteries in a parallel posture. The holder includes: a holder body having holding spaces for arranging cylindrical batteries at fixed positions; and a sub holder stacked on the holder body. The holder body has stopper portions deformed toward surfaces of cylindrical batteries arranged in holding spaces. The sub holder has push rods that push out stopper portions to cylindrical batteries in a state of being coupled to the holder body. In a state in which the sub holder is coupled to the holder body, in the cell module, the push rods thrust stopper portions against cylindrical batteries, and press the surfaces of cylindrical batteries arranged in holding spaces.

  • Patent number: 8841018
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide simpler and more reliable electrical wiring than a lead wire. A battery pack includes at least one rechargeable secondary battery (1), a battery holder (70) for housing the secondary battery (1) in a predetermined position, a pack circuit board (74) having a mounted electronic circuit for monitoring the secondary battery (1), and an electrical connection wire (85) for electrically wiring the pack circuit board (74). Here, the electrical connection wire (85) is a bent metal wire. Because wiring is realized using metal wire, and the metal connection is secured after the wiring has been completed, movement and deformation due to vibrations and other factors, such as that which occurs in the case of conventional lead wires, are avoided, and reliability can be improved.

  • Patent number: 6335113
Abstract: A thermostat comprises a first laminated metal plate and a second laminated metal plate in which a plurality of metal layers having different rates of expansion are laminated. The first laminated metal plate has a movable contact. The second laminated metal plate is disposed in such a position as to put the first laminated metal plate to the off and on positions. The first and second off temperatures, which put the movable contact in the off position by causing the first and second laminated metal plates to deform, and the first and second return temperatures, which return the movable contact from the off position to the on position, are set respectively at different temperatures.

  • Patent number: 5903423
Abstract: The battery pack for electric power tools of this invention has a circuit breaker connected in series with the batteries to protect those batteries from abnormal temperature or abnormal current by cutting-off the current. The circuit breaker is provided with a manual reset mechanism wherein even if the temperature sensing element is cooled, automatic reset will not occur. The circuit breaker must be manually reset. After the circuit breaker detects battery abnormality and cuts-off current, the current cut-off state is maintained until the manual reset mechanism is operated.
