  • Publication number: 20140134482
Abstract: A flooded lead-acid battery includes a negative active material, a positive active material having lead dioxide as a main component, and an electrolyte solution that contains sulfuric acid and is flowable. The negative active material of the flooded lead-acid battery contains carbon, a water-soluble polymer formed of a bisphenol condensation product having a sulfonic acid group, and a cellulose ether. The flooded lead-acid battery has low turbidity of the electrolyte solution and is excellent in high rate discharge performance at low temperature, regenerative charge accepting performance, and endurance performance in a partially charged state.

  • Patent number: 5237305
Abstract: A home bus system is to perform concentrated monitoring and control of electric appliances positioned in a house as well as alerting users by monitoring outputs from security sensors positioned in places of consideration in the house. The appliances, and the occurrence of emergencies sensed by the security sensors, appear on the screen of a visual controller in the form of pictographs. Data about the pictographs are stored in a memory such as a graphic ROM, and once stored data are read from the memory to be displayed on the screen.

  • Patent number: 4844469
Abstract: A golf trainer includes magnetic sensors for detecting the passage of a golf club head and is provided with a device for electronically measuring the speed of the club. The carry of the ball is also calculated, except when the club selected for use is a putter, from data regarding the club selected and the characteristics of the speed of this club versus the carry of the ball.

  • Patent number: 4615526
Abstract: A golf trainer includes one or more magnetic sensors disposed at predetermined locations relative to an ideal swing path of a golf club head. The outputs of the magnetic sensors are amplified and processed to calculate such parameters as the club head velocity, swing orbit, face angle, and ball carry, as examples. A suitable display device is used to provide the trainer user with instantaneous feedback relative to the success of a given practice swing.

  • Patent number: 4542906
Abstract: A golf training device for detecting movement of a golf ball and club head including a supporting body which extends toward the golf ball traveling direction. On one side of the supporting body first and second optical signals are output, on the other side the signals are detected. First and second light signals are discriminated by analysis of their detected different phases, and this data is used to analyze ball movement. Club head movement, in one embodiment, is analyzed using fiber optic detectors in the mat.

  • Patent number: 4451043
Abstract: A golf trainer is provided with sensors arranged in a bifurcated sensor case which is interposed with support portions formed in a base. The base holds the sensor case such that spaces are formed between the sensor case and an overlying shock-resistant material and artificial turf surface. The signals output by the sensors are processed and used to display various information relative to a club swing.

  • Patent number: 4266118
Abstract: A plurality of ON-OFF switch type operating keys are connected through respective "AND" gates to an encoder which delivers coded signals as predetermined by the operated keys to a micro-computer where a cooking program is instituted. A switch connected to the control inputs of the "AND" gates is closed to disable the outputs from the operated keys. Alternatively the keys may be arranged in a matrix and connected to an encoder. The keys are scanned with scan signals applied to the matrix from the micro-computer through the normally closed contact of a switch. The switch may be opened to disable the outputs from the operated keys. A cooking range is controlled in accordance with the cooking program.
