  • Publication number: 20230271859
Abstract: A disinfection apparatus for drainage piping of sanitary equipment includes a cleansing tank, a toilet bowl, and a drainage pipe connected to the toilet bowl. When the sanitary equipment is used, a fixed amount of cleansing water is supplied to the toilet bowl from the cleansing tank, and the cleansing water after cleansing the toilet bowl is drained from the drainage pipe. A sensor senses a supply of water to the cleansing tank. A chemical liquid pump supplies a fixed amount of chemical liquid from a chemical liquid tank to the cleansing tank. A control unit is configured to operate the chemical liquid pump by means of a water supply sensing signal from the sensor to supply a fixed amount of chlorine dioxide to the cleansing tank, thereby maintaining the concentration of chlorine dioxide in the cleansing water within the cleansing tank at a fixed concentration.

  • Publication number: 20190124314
Abstract: To estimate a three-dimensional state of an internal structure of particles forming a multicomponent material containing unknown materials based on two-dimensional image data, a three-dimensional state estimation device according to the present invention comprises statistical data setting means for setting statistical data obtained by taking statistics of a correlation among: a complexity indicator for quantitatively indicating, as an image complexity, various display states of a component of interest in two-dimensional image data in which a cross-section or the like of a multicomponent material is displayed and the component of interest and a component of non-interest in group of particles in the cross-section or the like are displayed differently from each other; an area fraction of the component of interest in the two-dimensional image data; and three-dimensional estimation data, which is, for example, three-dimensional state data on a content percentage of the component of interest in the multicomponent m

  • Patent number: 6701682
Abstract: A workspace system includes a working region and a plurality of work surfaces or desktops placed in the working region. The working region provides a first environment suitable for a right hemisphere-dominant job, a second environment suitable for a left hemisphere-dominant job, a third environment different from the first and the second environments, and a seating area in which a job performer takes a seat. Accordingly, the desktops may include a first desktop for the first environment, a second desktop for the second environment, and a third desktop for the third environment. The three working environments are arranged about the seating area. The first, the second and the third desktops are different in e.g. feel, material, shape and color from each other.

  • Patent number: 6556768
Abstract: A recording/reproducing apparatus (e.g., VTR) includes capability to exchange information with a storage apparatus such as a memory card mounted on a recording medium assembly (e.g., cassette). When the cassette is inserted into a compartment in the compartment in a VTR, a switch in the VTR is pushed by the case of the cassette, detecting the insertion of the cassette into the compartment. At that time, a signal indicating the insertion of the cassette into the compartment is supplied to a microcomputer from the switch. Notified by the signal, the microcomputer issues a command to a reader/writer, requesting the reader/writer to read out information pertaining to data recorded on the cassette from the memory card mounted on the cassette for recording the data through an antenna. With the cassette located outside the compartment, on the other hand, the microcomputer issues a command to a reader/writer, requesting the reader/writer to read out the information from the memory card through another antenna.

  • Patent number: 6509003
Abstract: The present invention relates to N-alkylpiperidine derivatives represented by general formula (1) or (2); wherein R1 represents optionally fluorinated lower alkyl; R2 represents lower alkyl; and R3 represents alkenyl substituted at the 1-position with hydroxy, lower alkoxy, lower alkoxyalkyloxy, lower alkoxyalkyloxyalkyloxy, or lower alkanoyloxy and substituted at the end with radioactive iodine, or alkenyloxymethyl substituted at the end with a radioactive iodine reagent containing the same for assaying central local AchE activity; a method for assaying the central local AchE activity; and labeled precursors of the above compounds. After easily passing through the blood-brain barrier, these compounds are hydrolyzed specifically by AchE in the brain into alcohols, which are then captured by the brain. In contrast, alcohols formed outside the brain do not migrate into the brain. The compounds of the invention emit &ggr;-rays at an appropriate energy level.

  • Patent number: 5609976
Abstract: The alkaline storage battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and alkaline electrolyte. The separator is a single layer of synthetic fiber non-woven fabric. Treating the separator to increase either the amount of fiber interconnection at the surface or the amount the fibers are broken apart at the surface or both improves separator strength without sacrificing permeability. This prevents internal short circuits, reduces internal pressure, and significantly improves battery lifetime.
