  • Publication number: 20230259093
Abstract: To provide a drive system provided with a plurality of control units configured to control electric motors, in which a wiring line is further simplified, the wiring line allowing a signal related to stopping of the electric motor to be input to the drive system. The drive system includes a plurality of control units each controlling a corresponding electric motor according to a command supplied from a host device via a first wiring line, a management unit including an input port that receives input of a first signal related to stopping of the electric motor, and a second wiring line that connects the management unit to the plurality of control units and is different from the first wiring line. The management unit distributes the first signal input to the input port to each of the plurality of control units via the second wiring line.

  • Publication number: 20210399659
Abstract: An electromagnetic brake controller for controlling a negative-actuated electromagnetic brake includes an output terminal connectable to the electromagnetic brake and a brake control section that outputs, through the output terminal, a brake control signal to be provided to the electromagnetic brake. The brake control section outputs a brake control signal for releasing the electromagnetic brake in response to a normal brake command and a safety brake command both indicating ON and outputs a brake control signal for applying the electromagnetic brake in response to at least one of the normal brake command or the safety brake command indicating OFF. The electromagnetic brake controller performs both safety control and normal control over the electromagnetic brake connected to the output terminal.

  • Publication number: 20210382504
Abstract: A control system for monitoring a control state of a target device that receives drive control by a motor includes a setting unit that sets an origin for position monitoring of the target device and a sensor that detects the target device reaching a predetermined position. The setting unit includes an obtainer that obtains, under predetermined drive control over the target device by the motor, leading and trailing edges in a detection signal from the sensor in response to the target device reaching the predetermined position, and a calculator that calculates the origin using first position information associated with a target device position and calculated based on the leading and trailing edges in the detection signal and second position information associated with the target device position and different from the first position information.

  • Publication number: 20200117160
Abstract: A servo system is used. The servo system includes: a safety driver including a drive signal generation circuit which generates a drive signal driving the drive device based on an action command from a standard PLC via a communication line and a feedback signal from the drive device, a drive signal path through which the drive signal is transmitted from the drive signal generation circuit to the drive device, and a safety stop circuit which cuts off the drive signal path when a stop instruction signal is input; a safety controller, connected with the safety driver by a control signal line and generating the stop instruction signal in response to an input of an operator and outputting the stop instruction signal; and a safety communication unit generating the stop instruction signal in response to an instruction from a safety PLC via the communication line and outputting the stop instruction signal.

  • Publication number: 20200033816
Abstract: This motor control device comprises: a motor control unit which outputs a drive signal for the motor; a drive circuit which supplies, to the motor, a drive current for driving the motor, on the basis of the drive signal outputted from the motor control unit; an interruption circuit which interrupts transmission of the drive signal from the motor control unit to the drive circuit; an input terminal to which the emergency stop signal is inputted; and a safety control unit which, when the emergency stop signal is inputted to the input terminal, sends a command for causing the interruption circuit to interrupt the transmission of the drive signal, inspects whether or not the interruption circuit has operated normally, and, if an inspection result indicating that the interruption circuit has operated normally is not obtained, prohibits restarting of the motor control device.
